Burning music...

I've burnt plenty of CD's before, but never before have I done what I want to do now. I HAVE a DVD(Muse: Hullabaloo), and I want to burn the AUDIO from the DTS format to an audio CD. How can I do this? Is it possible? Or must I resort to the dreaded(and poorer-quality) Dolby Digital 5.1? Right now I'm trying to demux the DTS audio file from the video, and hopefully it'll show up as a .wav file. I hate it when programs down-scale the quality of your products...

P.S. What are some sound cards that support DTS? Apparently mine doesn't, but since my reciever for my entertainment system does(and that's plenty old by now, well over 10 years I'm guessing), I'd think that it would be a standard on audio cards... Guess I'm wrong.
