I dont mean the gaming chair (as it would suck in a cockpit)

I am refering to the Hometheatre setup so that maybe you can feel the rumble of the engine or a crash in a wall.

And on a side note anybody know ant other rumble packs that can be added to a cockpit setup??

Ok about to answer my 2nd question

Aura bass shakers relativly cheap

Clarktransducers More expensive

There is another one but not worth it and its reputation isnt as good as buttkicker

I think I will try this to my cockpit when i build it/buy it, and I think you can use these in conjunction w/ the butt kicker so more added feedback you just have to have some home theatre setup so you can adjust the bass and stuff. My end goal is to be able to feel the vibration of the engine in GT4 and the shock of being shot in some other FPS

:odd: Why not shove gramps vibrator under the couch then? It's cheaper. :dopey:

Ya know people said the same thing about nintendo when they offered a rumble pack in the n64 controler and look how that turned out.

While I understand the lame attempt to be funny (I do it too) can this thread be constructive please...

I don't have mine on a cockpit, but I do have the buttkicker as part of my home-theatre and gaming setup (Buttkicker LFE).

As for Gran Turismo 4 - you'll feel the bass mostly when you reach higher speeds (wind noise), and from the beefier engines (boxer engines). Also from the soundtrack.

If you can get the Buttkicker LFE for a good price, then I definitely recommend it. Just make sure that if it is on a cockpit, that it's well damped, and you have somewhere solid to attach it on.
