Buying a "limited edition" version on ebay for use in Australia. Will DLC work?

Does anyone know if the DLC in the "limited edition" version which I suspect is the Hong Kong edition, work on an Australian PSN account?

No.

You'll need a Hong Kong account.

Let me also add that you don't need to use that HK account whenever you want to use the cars. Only the credits (if there is any in that version) will not be available to use on your AU account. But the cars will be shared across accounts.

Thanks for the quick reply. Are you sure thats the case with Gt6 as well? Has anyone confirmed?

I can get the game fairly cheap this way. Does anyone know if all the DLC in the "limited edition" in the HK edition will be worth anything to resell? At least this way I get the Apex book.

I don't really know what's in that edition that's not digital other than the book. Do you get a diecast car as well? You could probably sell that on eBay.

The digital content is not exactly worth selling on again, though people might pay you money for it if you don't want it.

Yeap you will only get the cars. Most likely wont get the credits. I tried booting up the Asian edition with my US account . No free money. Credits only show up on my Asian user account.

Well so you still get all the 20 cars all DLC and its completely regtion free? So why are people saying you cant claim the DLC without a HK account if you can actually get the cars? The 1 million credits not being redeemable is not as important in the long run as the cars. In fact its almost irrelevant

You will need the region specific account first to redeem the codes. Once you have downloaded the files, the cars will appear on non region specific accounts when u start-up.

I get everything on my US account except he credits. So I swapped back to the Asian account.

I'm curious how this works. I bought the Precision pack on ebay and the seller is warning me they will only work with a European game/account. How would I get the cars to my American version of the game?
