Hi guys!

I'm planning to buy an Xbox just to play Forza 4 in the next couple of days.

I just have a few questions...

How much are the DLC packages, average price in UK?

As i can't get used to the Xbox controller, I found a USB device that allows you to play with the PS3 ones... Where can I get it? I just can't find a place, web site in where to buy it!

Can you borrow/sell cars between your friends with no price limit (as happen in GT5)?

Cheers

I can answer two of those questions

1. Yes you can freely trade cars with friends with NO Limit

2. The average price for DLC would be about 6,480 MS points if you buy the V.I.P membership than the porsche pack in the in game store if not it would be around 6,880 MS this is based on the american standards so it might be different but i dont know

Thanks for your reply!

So you don’t have to pay real money for the DLC packages?! as happen in GT5.

Well you need to buy MS point cards which can be found online or in stores they are 1,600 2,400 or 4,000 in america prices are 20-50 dollars depending on the card amount

If you're not going to buy a wheel, I urge you to stick it out with the 360 controller. The resistance on the analog sticks as well as the triggers allows for much better throttle and steering control. Believe me, you'll get used to it. It took me a while, but now I can't stand the PS3 control anymore.

I don't know if it's available in the UK, but buying the Season Pass will snag you the first 6 DLC packs and save you some money.

Yeah as long as they are not unicorn cars you can do that all day long.
Thats what a club garage is for. ;)

Not to mention the 360 controller offers better support for holding the controller while using the triggers. When trying to use the L2/R2 triggers for gas/brake on the SixAxis/DS3, I always feel like it's about to fall out of my hands. It's terrible.

Don't get me started on how poorly designed the L2/R2 buttons are. :banghead: I actually bought these pieces of plastic that turn them into proper triggers and that did help (even though there's still nowhere near enough resistance). However, the L2 one popped off and I can't find it anywhere.

I had those as well when i had GT5, it really helped with braking and throttle control. Like you though i lost one of the pieces, funny thing though is that i found it about 4 months after i sold my PS3 lol.

Reason why it got lost is because my cat knocked my pad down from off the desk and the piece went flying.

Just other quick question guys!

Is it worth to buy the Limited Edition, for almost double the price of the Normal Edition?

I have the LE and the answer to your question is NO. You can buy the regular one, used and NOW buy the VIP Membership online. I believe it gives you access to everything the LCE users got. And the price will be MUCH cheaper than "almost double" the normal edition. Besides there's a GOOD chance that the codes you get may be worthless.

Now if you MUST have the shiny metal case and car book then only you can answer that. I got the LE for 10 dollars over the normal at release. No way would I have paid double for it. I'm cheap.

The local gamestop store here, still had some copies of the Forza4 Xbox pack.
That means a 250GB Xbox, Forza 4 and a controller for 200 euros all included.
The harddisk of 250GB is more than sufficient for all your needs.

Ask in your store if they still have that same pack in the backroom, it came out half a year ago around the release of FM4, and it was lowered in price already.

Ps i bought it 2 weeks ago.

And I'd just like to pipe up that the DLC season pass is indeed available here in the UK.

Normally I'd say it was a risk getting a console to play just one game but I think FM4 is worth it.

Um, average is the total price divided by the total number of packs. That is closer to the total price for all of them.

The price of the console and the game was no problem for me. But having to buy a new wheel to play FM4 did stop me from switching to XBOX for a very long time.

But now I am very happy with my CSR Elite and almost dont play GT5 anymore.
