Buyout option for Sponsor Car

So I don't typically participate in the championships, I just don't have the time. Of course I do still sign the contracts because, hey, free cars. This past time I signed with Renault. I'd already loved the RS01 and then the other day I decided to give the Megane a go after seeing it was setting pretty good time in the dailies.

I've entered 4 Sport mode races with it and haven't lost yet. I've fallen in love with the scrappy lil hatchback and it's going to be heartbreaking to see her goSo it got me thinking, would anyone else enjoy a buyout option at the end of the test season? Sort of like a lease buyout, after the end of the contract you could buy the sponsorship car if you liked it, at a discounted cost after using it for the season? $100,000k off the brand central price maybe?💡

All I know is I'm really going to miss my first Megane.

Haha! Yeah just buy one, same paint job and you’ll be fine dylpro :-) funnily enough I tried the Megane recently - it was a gift car. It took a couple of seconds off my lap time at Suzuka but I don’t enjoy driving it as much as the Alfa Gr3 car. Might buy a Scirroco and try that.

I think it would be a great idea. In the garage you can sort cars by race wins, Once I swapped out my Aston for a new team I lost the car with the race wins I had attached to it.

Edit: Maybe even value the based on your performance in the league that season: 450k for 0-100 points; 400k for 101-300..... 100k for 1k points

I'm just saying, it's not like they can sell it at brand central. It's a used car now! And we all know used cars lose half their value when you drive them off the lot! Might as well give the guy who's been driving it a deal

Yeah I like your idea. More options for trading cars would also be more interesting. A garage full of cars I never drive doesn’t feel right.

I like that idea . On my end not so much for sentimental value, but more so for the accumulated stats bound to the car (distance, wins)

Buyout? Hell I'm desperate to get rid of these cars. They don't disappear post-season when you don't sign a new contract. So I'm stuck with a full garage including two cars I don't need/want. Annoying.

That would actually be a pretty cool option. Sure, it's unnecessary, but would still be awesome if you've grown attached to that particular car.
