Eiger is quite a pain to navigate without a RWD car, though. I have used both the Integra and Focus without much success.

Learn how to drive a front-driver... it's much like driving a rear driver without the excessive oversteer in the hairpins. I can drive a stock Integra to within a second or two of a stock Evo VIII on Eiger in Pro-mode.

Like s2k2k3 says, slow in, fast out. Drive in professional mode with everything but the ABS off and you can even trail-brake into the hairpins. The longer corners are easy... drive as you would an AWD... kick the tail out on corner entry to tuck the nose in and apply the power on the way out. If you're using the Integra, the LSD will keep it neat on exit. The Focus feels more neutral, but it's much slower down the straights and overall... the Integra is the best car to win FWD events with.

so in these hair pin turns you brake get off the brake turn get off the wheel and accelerate or do you drift? sorry for any dumb questions i am new to this so i am learning how to drive

If you have an internet connection, I suggest you take advantage of the download function in Arcade Time Trial mode and download the fastest guy you can find, then watch his replays and how he does it.

When I'm driving for fun, I hit the brakes, line the car up while cadence braking, then pitch it sideways for a slightly drifting line. Then get on the power as soon as the car can take it.

If you want the proper line, you brake hard, turn in and nail the apex, no matter how slowly you have to go to do it, and take a very neat and straight line out.

I finally won at both eiger nordwand tracks. The reverse with an integra and the regular with a BMW concept car. It felt awesome. Almost as awesome as finally getting a bronze at Suzuka with my Integra. ( I finally won with my Integra at Suzuka by the way).
