I'm sure it will be mate but 'HP' is running tonights races (I was 'caretaker' host last 2 weeks while he was away) and wants all drivers to send him a personal message via PSN expressing a desire to race. Please send a friends request to 'Heathenpride' with your request to race and you can then follow HP into his lounge when it's open.
You can send one to me as well if you like. I have Play and Lav as Friends already. I am Team Manager for another 24hr team 'Motion Blur'. Look forward to seeing you on track later

Thanks to HP for hosting the race this morning. My Corvette ZR1 started 6th and with Lady Luck's blessing finished 2nd behind HP's GT-R. AllenDK's lap was way ahead of everyone and he would have bagged the race if not for his connection issues.
The starting pack. AllenDK, HP, Lavandel, Burre, Play117, Bob, Gadget, WIDFO.
By Lap 7, Gadget was leading the race with very low grip, trying to hold off Lavandel and me after the Karusell. I was having trouble sliding past Lavandel due to his car lag-jumping slightly (half way across the world), and didn't want to risk damage to the fragile Vette on the narrow parts of the track...
The moment came on the final straight when Gadget and Lavandel (both damaged??) was alongside each other. I caught Lavandel's slipstream and manage to line up for a pass ... Lap 7, the first 5 spots : Bob, Lavendal, Gadget, with Burre and HP behind. Nice formation gentlemen !
Hope you gents enjoyed the "GT-R sandwich" afterwards, which I manage to observe in my rearview mirror in shock.

Thanks Bob, it sure was an epic race! Allen's Disconnect was a shame, he and I are destined to never race together for a full race it seems, to be honest I'm surprised we could even see each other on track.
I decided on a 1 stop strategy and switched to front RH rear RM to test in race conditions, it worked but wow did I get a scare, those hards are a proper handful when worn to under half way
My conclusion is that it works but one must be careful, very careful indeed.
Great run guys, we shall do it all again next week!

Hi guys
I'm working late tonight and after so little sleep there's a chance I will sleep through my alarm, if I don't have a room up 15 min before scheduled start then assume that has happened and open one up, Gadget could you be my backup in this instance?
I am pretty sure I will be there but just in case I'm not we need a fallback.

Great pics bob. Thanks for sharing. Actually that last pic, we weren't damaged at that point, it's just that the Vette's faster on the straight anyway, and you also had a double draft which made the speed differentiation massive. A split second after you snapped that formation shot, Lav and I both fancied a piece of YOUR draft and tried to slot into it. That resulted in side to side contact (we were both in each others blind spot) and me scooting off into the armco to suffer heavy damage. No fault of Lav, it was an unfortunate racing incident but either way I was on the way into the pits anyway for a tyre stop so didn't cost my more than 10 seconds.
Looking forward to another cracker tonight.
