Well, it's not actually a TV - It's a projector showing on a 117" screen.

There's a big difference from the upcoming 120" TV from Sony :sly:

Guys, I would like to say that my respect level for Gadget and Scott and the other gent or 2 in thier 24 hour has gone through the roof, I'd have lobbied all my kit out the window after that shocking few laps, but you eventually pulled it all back taogether and proved you could still match pace, It was still a fantastic event, hopefully we get good turn out next year, going to try my hand in some marketing once all spec's and dates are locked in,

Thanks Dave. TMB were never in it to win it because we were I guess a 'pro am' team. For sure i-was-ere and myself have been regulars in the practise rooms so were as prepared as we could be, but G3TH_D and Atik_ were real life mates 'roped into this' by me back in November. They'd not played GT5 for ages, at the time Geth was still using a DS3 (had to go procure a cheap wheel to practise on) and neither had ever raced at the Ring, let alone with the unforgiving discipline of 'Full Damage'. I'm proud of both of them for the effort they put in to get to were we were.

For Scott (i-was-ere) he was on the pace, but 3 weeks before the event found he had a wedding to go to on Saturday, so ended up drving through the night to arrive 12 hours into the event (0300 local time) and sit straight in an unfamiliar wheel and have to perform. Likewise he did a fantastic job and allowed a welcome relief for sleep for a couple of our team.

Next year we will be back, and better prepared. We hope to do a GHH, and learn from the first year, and translate that into victory the next.

Apart from my team, I have to say what a fantastic race it was up front. Having raced with all of the individuals of GHH and TOR many times before (except Luke, who I only saw briefly before) I knew that it would be a tremendously tight battle up front, and boy was it that. Congrats to both. I enjoyed watching that battle as a spectator almost as much as our involvement in the race.

And finally we LOVED the FB feeds put together by Kurt and Oliver, and the inter team banter in the Team Managers Skype feed. Some grrat moments there and genuine 'laugh out loud' comments. For the record, I am NOT really a Dolly Parton fan by the way (thanks for starting that rumour Geth!!) :)

Already thinking about next year.

PS - Does anyone know how to export a replay that big (it was 542Mg) because when I tried to export to XMB so as I could share with my teamates I got a 'Sorry, the file is too big to export' which is a shame as my TMB buddies would love to have a copy for themselves. At present only copy is on my drivers machine. We don't even have a copy on Atik's PS3 which we used for the Team Managers console because it DC'd several times during the 24hrs and so didn't make a recording of the full race.

I'd Have thought there would be no issue exporting it, you could try this,

Copy all game data to a USB that can handle that much memory,
Plug it in to the PC, And try to export it that way,

What the above said.

That's how I would have done it.

Any news on how this series is evolving?
Will there be a race tonight for example? 👍
Or are we on break this weekend before the long term plans come together?

I think we've earned a weekend off mate! Expect details early next week :)

:sly: OP updated with the new series information :sly:

I'm interested but can not join all of them and I will attend C.R.A.P events if it crashes with these races.

This is a CRAP event Knukk :dunce:

All good though, plus if there are any clashes with any scheduled CRAP events I will simply reschedule them :sly:

Updated OP with the following:

*If all drivers have access to Spa then race 3 will change from Suzuka to Spa

Yes, please sign me up. We are moving house on the Saturday before the first race so I might not make it but will still try. Thanks

HP - I'm sure there will be several that can't make every race. Can the Championship allow drivers to be able to drop their worst result please?

Let's do this:

7 days from today will be the deadline for entry, at that point we will ascertain who can race which races. Then I will work out points etc for those unable to race but have given notice of same. Those that agree to race but fail to arrive would get no points but those who turn up to agreed races, and miss those they've adviser they'd miss, get an average score or similar.

How's that sound?

For those unfamiliar with ACST it is currently GMT +9.5 meaning that these races will start 2230 in the UK. However that may move an hour when we go to daylight saving (summer) time in a few weeks

I am in, these dates suits my roster very well. I will not be able to make the race of 14 April as I will be on holiday and I am taking the 86 to the mountain roads of Tasmania.:)

I want to participate in this series but I am preoccupied elsewhere in the e-sports arena.

Having dedicated myself to the 24hr Nürb race my absence from PuBBeN Gaming Community took its toll and I have to dedicate some time towards that community's goals.

I'll be racing with you guys in any C.R.A.P room I see activity in whenever I get time to do some racing.

Have fun in the GT300 Endurance Series. I'm convinced it'll be a blast.

Peace.

Come on Lav, surely you can squeeze it into your busy schedule. The GT300 series is where the build up for the N24 2014 begins :)

What time I can put into the PS3 for now will most probably go to Uncharted 3 (which I managed to borrow from Play117) and DUST514.

When I'm done with Uncharted 3, I will be able to put some time into GT5. Until then I'm afraid it won't be possible.
I need to be on the PC for some time.

Whatever time is left over (from not sitting in front of a gaming-machine) I really need to spend with my girlfriend (should be wife since we've been together for 11!!! years).

Do you have a car list ready? I'm hoping go attend 1 or 2 races. I don't know when I'm working so it's not possible for me to say when I can join

Not yet, been extremely busy. May need to delay by 2 weeks, will confirm ASAP if so.
