Hi all. I am looking for a good Cadillac CIEN Concept 1/4 mile drag tunes for Indy. As many will say: "go look in the stickies". Well, I have and no results are apparent. Much appreciated 👍

Are you using a manual transmission? If so are you launching in 2nd gear or 1st? Does It bog in any gear?

Yes, I am using manual. I launch in 2nd and it's ok. Just want to break the 8's if possible...

8s are not possible. The best tunes will only do 9.2s with the occasional really high 9.1. But there are several things I see apparent. Shift at redline, and make sure all shift lag is gone. Completely. From there I feel it's more of a suspension thing. Try doing the toe trick etc.

Would you mind posting your current setup, along with aero and ballast if you are using it? If you use a wing and max the rear downforce, it will help your launch and improve your time sometimes significantly.

I will however, give you a fair warning. This is a difficult car to tune, and not many are really used online because of this. It will cause you to sink in a decent amount of time to get a good time out of it.

Not possible.... there are only 2 RWD cars with a chance of 8's... the Viper ACR and the Enzo. High 9.1's is about as fast as you can get that car.

Ahem, only 2 street legal RWD cars possible of 8 sec. There's atleast 2 RWD racecars possible of it(excluding FGT, Ferarri F1s, and the X1/X2011). But they're both right, the Cien will never see 9.0s let alone 8 sec passes.

I think he meant the Cien can beat a slow tuned Nuvolari or RS6. It's not a bad car to run at Indy by any means, it will beat the Zondas, McLarens(MP4 & F1), & non-RM vettes, but it just cant run in the 8s.

I meant that If the Cien can run low 9's then it would be competitive with either my Avant or Nuvolari which run 9.1-9.2's. Which is not that slow.

the cien has potential, but we drag racers would prefer you gave it a go or asked more for ideas of was to tune it rather than just a tune itself. you will not learn anything from just receiving 👍

Well guys, I have now converted my CIEN to a Le Sarthe/SSR7/SSRX car. My new Indy car is my 2012 GT-R

Runs 9.1's.
