Hey, you know in Gran Turismo 3 you would have 4 variations of the Camaro Race car? Is it the same in this game as well or there's only one Camaro Race Car, but you can choose the colors?

ZardozAre you sure? Seems like there was just the green-and-white one, as I recall.
The Camaro LM is by far my favourite car in the game and the car I use the most with over 20+ thousand kilometers by me driving.
I ran the stock Camaro racecar through the All American Championship, and it was a breeze with margins from 2 to 7 seconds. The only exception was the New York race, where I lost by about 7 seconds to the Panoz GTR-1 the first time through. I reran that race, still stock, and the next field did not include the Panoz. I breezed past the Ford GT racer with a 7 second margin.I tried the top American event on New York, just to see how it handled and what it had for power, stock, and it seemed a bit out classed. It does handle nicely though, I could see it at Infineon or Laguna maybe...

You really think so? I find it to be just about as fast (if not faster) than the Viper GTS-R Team Oreca. I think it's one of the most balanced cars in the game.
My Camaro LM is down to its last hp legs, as far as I remember its lower than 620. What is yours at?Well yes, that is only my personal opinion. It does handle better than many others by means of its cornering attitude, uneven surface behaviour and sprint capacities. However it is not really a best choice from what I feel. I drove this car many events including at GT3.
But excuse me if I disagree with you and say so; the Team Oreca Viper is among the top ten of any GT game 1,2,3 or 4 from my point of view. I could not get it yet and will check what event I can grab it from. I love that car...
If you like that car a lot, I would suggest you try it fro drifting. It gives you fantastic tailswing and sideways drag. I need to find the settings I jotted down about a year ago to tell you exactly though. But they are more or less the same with any drifter...
Good luck...👍
The GTR-1 is a blindingly fast car lol. Out of the box isn't it around 750 or 795hp?I ran the stock Camaro racecar through the All American Championship, and it was a breeze with margins from 2 to 7 seconds. DLRgianI never fully max out my race cars.

Ok, valid reasons to disagree with our opinons, I agree with the fact that it isn't good for every race and it isn't my top pick either.
The ORECA can't be won. I'm pretty sure you can drive it in Arcade mode from the start, and it is awesome to drive. Very well mannered, but still has a helluva lotta power in it. One of my favorites too
Never tried drifting the Camaro LM though...
Unless you do Lightweight stages, Port Polish, Displacement up, Engine Balancing, Those are irreversable.
