One thing I've noticed in recent GT games (i.e GT5 and 6) is that the diversity of the camera options has decreased somewhat. Whatever happened to the choice between two chase cameras like in GT4 prologue? And the special effects you could enable during replays for GT3 and GT4?

For a series like Gran Turismo, it's a shame to find that the diversity and general quality of the camera choices is lacking, because there's a lot to appreciate in the visual department.

I like where PD is going by adding two different interior perspectives for the premium cars for replays, but there just needs to be more camera options, so we can really immerse ourselves in the Gran Turismo world.

GT has been plagued by the lack of a proper bonnet camera. A feature which I think is desperately needed. Especially if standard cars are apparently mounting a return in GT7.

Another more recent innovation in camera views for racing games is the 'helmet' cam. GT7 Could really do with one of these, as it would provide a greater sense of speed, as your head turns to the apex of a track and your vision blurs when things get a bit frantic.

Finally, there should be more camera adjustment options, so you can set the position of chase cameras to your personal preference. And why not a custom camera editor for replays, where you can position cameras around cars in specific areas?

I think you get the picture... but in all seriousness, if GT7 is going to get massive graphical enhancements thanks to next gen technology, it should simultaneously bring back a far more appealing selection of camera options. Both on track, and in the replays.

Needs the Driveclub dashboard cam. Also the Right stick needs to be for 3D camera rotation

PD could defiantly get inspiration from Evolution studios. Not just for camera views, but for the visuals and sounds. After all, DriveClub from a metaphorical perspective, is Gran Turismo 7 prologue, for its Sony's only PS4 racer right now ;)
