Can any of the Anniversary Edition/Preorder cars be purchased in-game?

I thought the same, with them being in "packs". Precision, Torque and so on wondered about the possibility of them being released as DLC. I'm probably wrong but would be an idea.

Do we know exactly how the preorder cars are delivered? Will they just be there in my garage, or are they downloaded like DLC? I'm hoping to fart around with them a little before downloading the patch.

I reckon it will be like what came with the GT5 Collectors the little slip with the code to unlock them and then they will be in your garage.

It may be that i have misunderstood your question, but digital versions will get the same bonus cars as physical copies.

Of course if you’re unwilling to wait for the postman, you can also preorder either version of the game through your console or the SEN store site for digital download. Both, like all other preorders, include the Precision Pack bonus cars.

Still confused about this. Is the Anniversary Edition a different box and sku altogether? And is only available at GameStop in the US? (I understand that GameStop's "preorder bonus" is and "automatic upgrade" to the Anniversary Edition). But, that makes me wonder if the Anniversary (or any other version that comes with the bonus cars) may be available at other locations?

I preordered my game at Gamestop. They said its just the regular edition except you get a card with the Dlc code when you pick it up. A bonus for preordering.

I spent a while talking to the person at GameStop when preordering a copy and making sure it was the anniversary edition. She had no clue at all what I was talking about (pretty normal for GameStop) so I reluctantly placed a preorder and we'll find out when I pick it up in the morning. I hate GameStop. So clueless.

I'm in the same boat, I've been so busy I didn't realize it was coming out, till today...I called GS to see if I could just buy in the store and still get the upgrade and the guy said to order online as he said he didn't even see the 15th ann. in his system...However, they told me the same thing when I purchase a COD game; the code was just on the receipt.


I waited too long and now have to get it shipped, I'm soo pissed...

Anyone know if the code will just be on the receipt? Guess I'm assed out and just have to wait..

If you're getting it shipped, they'll send you an email with the codes. It only appears on the receipt if you go into the store.

They are just so confusing at Game stop. I don't want to have to order it and pay the shipping only to find out when I go into the store tomorrow they are offering the upgrade...LOL. oh well, crap on me for not knowing. :laugh:

No I meant, people pre-ordered online for shipping and others pre-ordered it in the store for collection.

Thanks for the input...Finally got some answers and was able to sneak in a pre-order at my local gs...Not sure why the website won't allow it for in store pick up, but the guy did go back and confirm it's the 15th ann. edition. He mentioned (as you did) that whatever extras are coming with it will be on the receipt.

Alright just got back from GameStop. The code is on a piece of paper inside the game case. It is not printed on the receipt.
