Can anyone beat a jump distance of 463ft?

I just did a jump where I went 463ft, if anyone has a higher jump distance I will be very surprised due to the circumstances in which I did this jump under.

I will tell you my secret once I start to hear other people's max jump distances.
 
467 ft.

:P we prolly did them with the same vehicle, and in the same spot
 
Wow...that's amazing! 280 ft. is my best.

Can't wait to hear the trick with this one. :)
 
I've only done something like 167 i think. I havent done much jumping yet.
 
Heh, since he hasnt said anyting, i will.

At the airport there is a runaway running sw->ne. at the end of this runway there are 2 ramps at different angles, hit the steeper one at top speed with a pcj-600 and you should have no problem going 400+ feet.
 
Go to the airport.

Go on the Sw-Ne running runway.

stay in the left lane and you will hit the steeper jump.

****to get huge distance push slightly forward on the analog stick so that Tommy crouches down under the windscreen of the PCJ-600 (not so much that he stands up) and you will go alot faster and get way more air.*****

PS I would be able to go further but I always clip the top edge of the 3rd fence straight out from the jump.
 
That's a good jump! The first time I tried it (10 min ago), I got 476ft on a PCJ. The second time, I used my bad-ass jumping vehicle and got 613 ft. That's not a typo, I got 613ft on a sloppy run-up to the ramp. I'll try again tonite after work, I'm sure I can do better. If nobody guesses the vehicle by tomorrow, I'll tell ya... :lol:

have you done 100 fares and are you jumping at the end of the ramp?

Are you using the Zebra cab?

Did you try hitting the jump by pushing slightly forward so that Tommy leans forward? Did you notice how the bike goes faster?

I haven't heard anyone talk about that trick yet. It isn't on any forums and isn't in any strategy guide that I've seen.

I guess I am the first to discover it! Just kidding.

I did better. How does 729ft sound?!? :D I clipped a fence & landed upside down, and when I pulled myself from the burning Rhino, I was standing on the street in front of Sunshine Auto! The trick is to spin the cannon around and use the recoil to shoot, shoot, shoot yourself faster... try it. :)
 
The best Ive been able to do is 363ft with the PCJ 600.

Yeah i just figured that out. 699ft on second try.

but i did get 2 back to back tank jumps.

jumped the runaway ramp->53x feet, landed on the fence in the plant area, bounced of the fence and went another 409 feet.

All togther 900+ feet without touching the ground not bad:D

In your stats does it say max jump "900+ feet"?
 
Your stats list jump distance in Meters, for some reason.
 
My record is 453 ft.... 10 short of that, and i did that today. I just figured out how to do wheelies and my record is like 2,538 ft or so (I dont remember what exactly what it was) and for 16 seconds. I'm sure others have gone a lot further though.
 
I also did a jump with a pcj 6000 and ended up falling off in midair because the bike was upside down. Didnt land it but it was funny. :lol:

People knew this from even GTA3, everyone knows that. I just didnt think of the Rhino at the time because i thought you meant the Zebra Cab....

because maybe SOME people (like me) dont own the game and rent it because it's ****ing Christmas...
 
hey, has anyone tried the Higher Top Speed cheat? I did it, but I can't get a longer jump distance with it on. Does anyone know if it only works with certain cars in GTA, kind of like how the Bigger wheels cheat only works with about 4-5 cars?
 
anyone try doing a huge backflip? I like how you fall off the back, it's a nice touch...

Are those cheats only for Gameshark or a series of buttons you push on the controller to activate the cheat?
 
Well, on the Unique Jump at the end of the runway at the airport, I used a PCJ600 to get 490 feet.

But, using the tank, I got 516 feet at the same place. (Turn the turret around and fire it to really get some speed with the thing.)
