Can I erase V1.03 without affecting the game?

I think this patch is not optional. I'm not sure you can erase it. Maybe the server won't let you play online if you don't have it...

Yes you can!

Obama also said the same thing. Yes we can. But can you ??

If you delete patch then during starting the game you will see not mandatory suggestion that you have to download latest patch. You can hit O button and skip downloading. Then i think you won't be able to play on line any more.

So in your case the true answer is no. There is no way to delete latest patch and don't effect game.

Ok so I erased the patch and skipped the download. I was able to play online.
But in my garage all exotic and team racing cars had gone the thought of losing all my vinyl designs freaked me out a little to say the least
I download the patch again and all cars and vinyl designs are there what a relief.
So the answer to my question "Can I erase V1.03 without affecting the game"
Is yes you can but no you can't.

Life, what can you do. But I like patch. Did not do anything wrong to my playing. Make it little better.

+1, the patch has made the game better for me (with the exception of not being able to see what I have in my garage )

I didn't have no slowdowns ever in this game,just luck I figure,so I didn't notice any improvement for that matter since the patch was released.
But for most of us who play online in a regular basis in private lobbys,the expirience since the patch has been a real living nightmare with people not seing who is connected to EA nation highlighted in the friends list not receveing/sending invites, repeated disconnections from EA nation,etc.

So yes I could live without this patch...👎
