So,i have a Minolta Toyota 88C-V Race Car,i drove the El Capitan endurance just to use this car to win a FGT...

I thought i'd leave my PS2 on in order to win the 24h 'Ring without any problems
All i ask you is,if i drive the first 2 to 4 laps and change tires, refuel and change to B-spec,is it worth it?

My Minolta is stock,no tuning at all,and TC on,so it doesn't waste the RSH tires too fast.

Would it be able to keep up the 1st place until i come back about 18 hours later?

And don't tell me you can make miracles within 6 hours as im not interested in driving 6 hours of A-spec

I doubt it, depending on the amount of lead you have. The bot is very inefficient in the pit stops.

Use a stop watch or watch a clock and time how long your AI driver is out on the track between pits to come back and manually do the pitting. If you have a pretty good lead, you might miss a few and see how much time he lost of your lead. This should give you a good guess on how much lead you would need to let him go for a period of time.

So,you think the best bet is to use Racing Soft tires...it might last for 2 or 3 laps but atleast he pits better (not going over it with bad tires)

I should try it.

The Toyota MINOLTA 88C-V is massive overkill for this race. You'd be better suited using the Fairlady Concept LM Race car won from Japan Championship. Even then, it's brutally overpowering the others.

R1 tires would be best for the Nurb 24hr race, given how massive the course is. Also B-spec (I call him Buntsworth) can win this race handily.

Short answer, your Toyota is more than fast enough. Slap some R1s on it and you'll have a brand new FGT in about 24 hours.

It's one of the top LMP cars up against a bunch of GT300, GT500 and DTM cars. There's no way you can lose this in B-Spec unless you put N tires on the car, and at that I'd still bet on the Toyota.

The B-Spec driver follows the same pit strategy (such as it is) as the rest of the AI. The only pit time you'd lose is the four seconds during which you can choose which tires, whether or not to refuel, etc.

I thought it's up against LMP cars,as there are LMP's in Le Mans 24h...
If it's against DTM and GT500 class cars i have no worries at all :D
