I'll check mine when I get home - have you done all the tune-ups and custom suspension?

The key to this car is manipulating the diffs - put a fully customisable diff in it and have a play with the settings (remember to write down the originals!)

I messed with the spring rates. Set the Front at 9.0 and the Rear at 6.0.
Lower it into the weeds. Then start testing. If you're sparking around corners, raise the care 2 clicks and keep testing and raising until you are happy with the car.
Then to dial in oversteer, raise the rear.
to dial out oversteer, raise the front.
It can be long and drawn out, but it works in the end.
Hope this helps.
I promise, you can win the Zonda race with the C12S.:D

What he said, The Zonda is way faster than it feels like it is.
Jump on the binders EARLY to stay in control.

I grabbed these setting from here awhile ago...

I'm not sure who the original author is. They deserve credit for the work though.

And yes, brake way before you think you do.

This is the one car that has been accused of removing the steering wheel to save weight.

Yes, the Zonda is kinda like the Speed 12 - the more conservatively you drive, the faster you'll go. :D

Some settings for you to try:

Springs: 14f/15r
ride height: 65mm f/r
shock bound 3f/5r
rebound: 4f/6r
camber: 3f/2r
toe: 1f/0r
stabilizers: 5f/4r

brakes 13f/12r

gears: preset level 24
1 - 2.940
2 - 2.060
3 - 1.520
4 - 1.180
5 - 0.977
6 - 0.799
final - 3.000

downforce: .29f/.50r

TCS: 1

---------

Mods:

Oil Change
Sports Brakes
Race Muffler
Sport Chip
Stage 1 N/A tuning
Full Balance
Stage 3 Clutch
Race Flywheel
1.5 LSD
Stage 1 lightening

I win races with this setup, anyway. :)

I finally got around to trying the settings out and they work but the car still oversteers like a mother ******. Any help?

Oversteer is good, soon enough you will be able to handle the horses. Try it with asm:0 and tcs: 0, thats what a real man drives ;)

That's how most of my cars are set up. The Zonda is a little too touchy (and likely to get into power-on oversteer) so I put on a little TCS. Works quite well, really. :)

If it's a real mans car... take off the slicks and put some sim tires on! yeah, that rules. Walls at 150+.... theres some adreniline for ya.

Would those settings be good for the zonda race car too? I just won one and it fells a little better than the others but still it needs help.

congrats SK8R on the race zonda, I havent made it that far yet, and my amigo cant pull it off. The difference between bravery and stupidity= the difference between TCS and no TCS. If you seriously drive (and perform) without TCS, I would like to remind you that there is a real world outside your door...

Make the front suspension between 16.0 and 17.0kg's and the rear 1.5 kg's under that, 55-65mm for the front 5 more for the rear, put the bound down to 4-5 and the rear 1 less, set the front and rear rebound to 8-9, front camber between 3-4 and the rear between 1.5-2.5, front toe to .5 leave the rear as it is, put front downforce 10 below max, set the TCS to 7 or 8 and ASM to 7 or 8. This should tighten it up alright :D

i rigged up my zonda to like 1000hp+ and i did notice the very bad handeling, i was wondering... does the speed 12 have worse or better handeling?, becuase i heard thats pretty bad too with control. also, thanks for all those tips for my zonda

For challenge methinks to see who can actually drive them I have no problems with this car infact i quite like it once tamed it's very good indeed :)
