Can u drift the first two of apricot hill without entering dirt or grass but still keeping the car sideways throught out the entire two corners

and the long corners on complex sting (u had to drive skyline around them in a lience test) not including the first two (sharp right then sharp left)

i can do these corners ok.
ive only resecntly been able to drift the complex sting corners as they are long and require a lot of skill IMO to keep the car from spinning , straightening up or spining of the track.

i can drift the first two of apricot hill corners with S13 2.0lt AE86 (both) 180sx type aero, RX7 FC
Complex sting corners 180sx , FC (only ones i tried)

let us know how u can drift these corners and what car u use?

good to c the detail in your response "Sarcasticly"

u guys must be pretty good then

lol, didn't you have an earlier thread talking about drifting Midfield? I made a video about that and no one watched it :( But anyways, I did pull off those drifts in my Skyline and my Supra, so it is possible :)

The way I tackle the corners is that I keep my thumb light on the throttle while I countersteer very little. Then, I just balance between both the throttle and the countersteer until I get out of the corner. If it is necessary, I inertia drift to keep my momentum going. The most difficult challenge I had was drifting the first two corners of Apricot Hill with a stock R390 Race Car with simulation tires. Well, let's just say that it was worth the time :D

I'll try to compile a clip of both Apricot Hill and Complex String when I have the time.

Fair enough...I read the first few lines and got bored, so I didn't finish reading it. :D

I feint drift the first two corners at apricot hill.. on sims, I try to stay a little bit to the left as I head into the turn, brake to get me down to 75-80ish and then feint to the right and bring the car back to the left, then countersteer. With that line, I'll usually get my back wheels on the rumble strip that's on the outside of the outside of the corner. I don't remember which two corners on Complex string you're talking about, so I can't help with that.

The midfield 1st corner is easy with any awd car..
i prefer the R34 because of its sheer power to drift faster and power to adjust angles with just slight touches of the Gas.

To enter this corner with an R34 you just brake into the corner until the rear is about 45degrees, then ease on the throttle to keep the car sideways....DO NOT RELEASE THE THROTTLE AT THIS POINT... only release the throttle after you have cleared the tiney straight between the two corners..
When you release the throttle, tap the E-brake for 2seconds to get the tail out evenmore, then floor it and counter steer depending on how the car is facing into the second corner..

Remeber this wil only work with Awd cars.
Awd cars are easier to drift long distances yeah? any one agree?
because of their ability to get the car side-ways and hold it....
with RWD the car will either be sliding to much and going into a spin or not sliding enough. I love the challenge faced by RWD drifting.. :D

Drift ON

LIve STraight Die SIDEWAYS;)

the first corner thingy on apiricot hill is easy to drift with my FC...its so weak so i can just floor it through the corner and juss brake a little for the sharper part....and for complex string i hav only done it once or twice with my FD....those corners are sooo long.....
