I am trying to get my International B liecense but I can't get 20 stars on national A. I barely make money and my car choices aren't the best. I don't know if it's my driving skills I suck at or my choices of events and cars. I tried to do the national championship but I couldn't win. Please help!

Give our Players Guide a try - sounds like you'd benefit from it.

Yup CDPlaysGames. Do purchase the Players Guide as suggested. Comes in very handy to be better informed as to what to expect etc. Very cheap also and downloadable.
Your predicament reminds me of myself when I started last December. Keep at it and you'll find yourself improving. That was my experience. Also participate in the GT6 forum which is most helpful. You'll see.

Also, if you find yourself in a bind along the way with particular races that's keeping you back from earning stars to qualify to other stages there's also a racing option called the B-Spec. It's right next to the A-Sec driving option/button. What it allows you to do is have an in-game AI (Artificial Intelligence) driver which we fondly refer to as "Bob" race for you. He's a good AI racer and can pull off a win if you get in a bind along the way in Career races. To get more familiar with "Bob" and how to have him race for you (he can race with your input also) do a search on the forum or GT6 guide and you'll be on your way.

In ending I encourage you to keep racing and practicing. It does get easier and you'll be earning much more credits along the way.

Play it like you're really in the car driving. Feel your car's every movement. Pay attention to weight shifting. Don't just step on the brakes and gas like its another racing game. And play in manual transmission. That would help a lot.

If he's just starting out I wouldn't suggest he drive in manual transmission though. Automatic would be much easier and less confusing for now.

I'm a firm believer that straight in at the deep end is the best way to learn, no pussy footing around, go manual, turn all your aids off & get practicing. You'll get there mate.
you'll find loads of helpful people on this site to guide you, but just remember no matter how fast you become there'll be always someone faster, so just enjoy the driving/racing.
There are alot of frustrating events in gt6 so try not to throw your pad against the wall :)

The only frustrating events I come across are the Moon Events and the Drift Events and doing them over an over I become better at them events, with other events are not that hard CDplaysgames but practise is the key here and you will become a better player, just remember you do not have to Gold everything in GT6 just do the best as you can in this game and if you need help come over to Exeter GT Tuning (Updated with new seasonal setups) and we will help you out with car tunes and other thing as well. 👍

Question. Which version is harder? GT6 now after all the updates? Or GT6 just after a month of release?

Practice as much as you possibly can. It doesn't really matter if you don't win the race as you're gaining experience with every corner, track and car type. Eventually, muscle memory takes over and everything starts to click into place but you have to put the laps in to get there. There's no trick other than hard work.

If you're struggling for credits, spend an hour or two on quick match. Last place pays more than every career race (up to the pseudo endurance races) and you'll have more cars than you know what to do with. Same with the seasonal races as they're huge payers now. Try and keep your log in bonus topped up to 200% to maximise the credits.

While it's easier to control the car's speed and control with the manual transmission, it's possible to be quick with the auto as well. It sounds like you need to get the basics down first and then think about switching to the manual when you want more control.

If you're making too many mistakes, slow down until you stop making them and then increase your speed when you're more comfortable. If you're struggling on a particular track, watch some replays. If you're struggling with a particular car, try another as there's always an alternative and it may suit you better. Everyone has their own driving style and some cars suit some people more than others.

...and as already said, have a look in the tuning forum and the tune finder to find cars that have had most of the bad handling characteristics neutralised. They'll give you the confidence to push that little bit harder.

Lastly, read the first paragraph again. It's the only way to get quicker.

The best of luck to you.

It's not a question of which one is harder. GT6 is more complete and polished after all the updates though.
Also, this is very good advice for earning credits--->"Try and keep your (PSN Network) log in bonus topped up to 200% to maximise the credits."
