I usually dont have much time to play and I think B-spec is a good way to play the game while doing other things also. I wonder if B-spec works online.. ?

I was also thinking that B-spec could be a great way to get 6 people involved into the racing at a get together for instance. Think 3rd person racing.... I know it s a conceptual idea but I thouhg it would be cool.

I would rather drop my nuts in a grinder.

Thanks for that on-topic and informative response. Bravo.

@Profoxcg, B-spec isn't implemented online as of now. PD is supposedly working on GTAnywhere (I think that's what it's called), that allows you to use a remote device (ie: computer or phone) to host online b-spec races against other b-spec drivers while your ps3 is online...

I was just thinking this would be neat, wait.. what? more b spec?
-one make races, tuning settings available
-1 or more drivers
-no advantage to wheel users...

It would be a nice change of pace after you're arms get weak from laps on Nurburgring.. hop over do an online b-spec enduro for an hour or so..

BOB vs BOB !

I would prefer to keep my nuts in place... but I agree with what you wanted to say! For me B Spec is just a waste of time. Too bad that you have to do it to get more cars :/ I would have prefered if PD invested their time in more races / tracks than doing B spec. What's the point to leave BOB play while you are at work sorry? I play for fun, not leave BOB play on my behalf hehe!

Could be fun if they hadn't totally split out A and B spec, so real time 24 hour endurance races with "real" drivers swapping with their Bobs. Or 8 hour events anyway :)

Why would I want to watch my Bob go against another? Comedic effect? I have enough problems trying to avoid AFK'ing as it is...

It might be interesting (or even fun) if it were more involving, but in its current state not so much...

Despite being listed in the manual as a feature in the game, it is not currently available to race one Bob against another online.

One of the many things that were advertised or supposed to be in the game that just magically aren't.

If Bob was a properly complicated, unique AI then I would get pitting one against another. In fact PD should use B-Spec as a distributed computing program to try and finally develop a decent AI system via random natural selection of algorithms.

There you go PD I've just solved the biggest problem in offline racing for you, the weak AI. You can have several millions systems all working on creating AI by making random changes to their code until the freak genius comes to bear in a survival of the fittest competition.

Pitting Drivers Against Your Friends' Drivers to Gain Experience

Making Your Driver Public
Set your "My Driver" to "Share with Friends" to enable that driver to compete with the "My Driver" of your friends on PlayStation®Network (PSN) in a Remote Race.

Hosting Remote Races

Select the "My Drivers" of you and your friends that are set public, along with some cars. Once a race set is created the race will begin automatically. This is called "Remote Racing."

After the race is over, all "My Drivers" that participated in the remote race will gain experience. Use remote races to gain experience for the drivers on your team.
