What times are people setting on Autodromo Lago?
I've submitted 1:57:466, i think i could find a few more tenths but that's it.

I’m at 1:55.757.
I hope I qualify in this round, because... I know I’m bad at Tokyo.
My ideal lap is 3 tenths faster. But I don’t think I’ll be able to put everything together in one magical lap.

You definitely have to be in the 55s to make it, I’m at 55.8, I don’t think it’s good enough, but I don’t have much left I don’t think.

I'm stuck at 1:56.2. The frustrating thing is that my sectors are slightly faster, but I don't see where I can make up time to get anywhere deep into the 55's. I've tried just about everything. Best first sector is a 33.08x, and I've seen a 1:01.5xx at S2 a few times.

I never seem to check my S1 times cause I'm so focused lining up the turn that comes shortly after, but the best I've managed consistently on S2 was 1:01.3xx. It really just comes down to the esses, I find I can only grab the apexes, can't place half the car over the first two otherwise I break traction. The third apex just put the entire car over the apex and I'm WOT all the way through.

That fast hairpin after S2 is really just a crap-shoot for me.

Do you guys want a hot lap replay?
A hot lap replay would be fantastic, I'll take all the help I can get!

I know I am blowing it into the hairpin at the start of sector 2... I could pick up 3/10s easy. Also the exit to the hairpin in sector 3... with that long run afterwards I really need to nail that one!

Yeah, those esses are surprisingly difficult when you're hunting for every last tenth.

I'm also wondering how lenient WorldGaming will be with the cutting at T4.

Glad I'm not alone on that one! Sometimes my car bogs down, sometimes it doesn't. Entry speeds are always roughly the same, which makes it all the stranger.

Is there a way to load other players' ghosts while running the event? I downloaded a few yesterday but never had the option to load 'em. Right now I'm using hotsaucer's run on Youtube as a reference.

T5 is one of the corners I actually feel pretty good about. You can start braking about a car length after the rumble strip ends on the left, and you want to stay over there for as long as possible without touching the grass. Cut in, clip the apex at around 78mph, stay at a steady throttle for a few moments as you start to unwind lock, then power through. I find the fastest line for me at the end of the corner is to barely touch the outer rumble strip: you want to start heading to the right of the track pretty early to line up for the next section.

I can't seem to pull off a faster lap by cutting there because the car becomes very unstable and I can't get the power down on exit, so I just clip the apex instead.

I mostly struggle with the last corner, and the last sector in general. I was the same even in the Corvette Nations Cup race yesterday. I don’t pay attention to sector times though, I mostly just race my own ghost like it’s another human

Has anyone noticed their lap delta on the HUD is gone... how do i get it back???

No improvement from me BTW, what are you running for TC and Brake Bias? i just cant seem to get out of the second hairpin and last chicane properly.

Ended up submitting a 1:56.229, 1:01.3x split at S2.

I honestly can't figure out the difference between my fast laps and slow ones. It just felt like I randomly had more exit grip on 2, 4, and 5. Nando you're in for sure with that 1:55.

Thanks! I hope so... I tried a couple of laps on Tokyo... and it’s not gonna be great if I have to be good at it.

About my settings, I didn’t feel like Brake Bias had a huge impact in my lap times. From 0 to +5.
TCS 0.

That reminds me, I tried running all types of brake bias. My initial fastest lap was set at 2 to the rear, I couldn't beat that so i went neutral. The lines were a bit different but laps were more consistent. Still couldn't beat my top lap so in frustration I went 5 to the front and immediately got a really good lap, again with different lines on entry but faster exits. My best lap ended up being with a 5 to front, which is not at all how I usually like to setup my cars.

Oh and I had to turn off cones because a lot of them are in apexes that you have to cut to be fast.

0 TC but I use the CSA on strong. It gives the g29 a lot more feedback that the rears are slipping.

Also this was my first time doing the circuit experience for this track. As a reward I got the $20mil 330 P4 lol.

Your lap is a really good lap. Right before the last sector we were just .15s apart. It seems like you could have carried much more speed through those last 4 corners potentially making you .4s or more faster. I know I messed up the last corner on my lap, should have taken more curb. Lost at least .05s there.

I did about 6-7 laps last night, got to 1:56.9 I think (or 1:56.8), definitely had lots of room to improve, but really am not a fan of the car and it was already late so I'm going to qualify on Suzuka East (need to learn the damn track anyways).

Check this again lol... wouldn't want you to waste your efforts
