Canadian International Auto Show

I just thought I should tell you guys that the Toronto car show is coming . If any of you are in the area, make sure to visit. Granted, it's no detroit show, but the show is generally huge every year. If I get a chance to go this year, I'll post pics of my visit. Hopefully it won't be a problem for me to go since the show is just a 20 minute walk from my school.

just some useless information

The CIAS is one of only 2 "Internationally Sanctioned" auto shows in North America, the other is in Detroit.

yeah im definatly going on the opening day...i think its friday the 13th...dum dum dum...i went last year and im so mad because i missed the mustang concept...they took it to chicago like the day before...

the auto show is actually a good auto show...lots of nice cars...i think there was a panoz esperante gt r last year...amazing...and its huge...emad said like 850 000 sq feet...its in the sky dome and i think 2 or 3 of the convention buildings...

but yeah if your in the area be sure to check it out!

First day would be nice but damn, I'd rather wait a few days and go with little rush - I'm planning on taking as many pictures as will fit on the 256 meg memory card.

I'm planning on going to " Pacific Light Car & Truck Show " in Vancouver, BC sometime this month when it opens.

same here, i have a 128 mb card and a 64 mb so those will prolly be filled up...ill post pictures after i go

Hmm, sounds like fun. I'll see if I can go, but i somehow doubt it, as I'm way over on the wet coast here in Victoria. But who knows?

I just got home from the auto show and i have to say it was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

The new mustang was stunning and it was great, aside from my friend smashing his finger when he closed the door of a lexus on it...

they had the subaru gt3 simulator thing and im proud to say i got the fastest time of yesterday and today :> lol i beat yesterdays fast time by 4 seconds

anyways im going back tomorrow with my camera so ill be sure to post some pictures

anyways, which brands were fenced off? I like shooting cars myself from up close so I can hit them from various angles and close up shots and I don't trust the reps to do it right for me.

From my last experience, it was ferarri, bentley and a few of the other huge name ones...

Well the ford GT was fenced off but it was on a rotating platform...the new mustang was fenced off buton a rotating platform as well...the top of the line 7series was also fenced off...

there was a maybach there as well and that was fenced off but they were letting people up to look at it...i guess if you looked rich or something theyd let you...but they wouldnt let a bunch of 15 year olds up...

the ferrari section was fenced off but they were letting people in there as well...

they also had the mclaren mercedes SLR or what ever its called which was also fenced but it was on a rotating platform...

in the GM section the new corvette was fenced off as well as the GTP i think...but other then that i cant remember anything else being fenced off...

like i said im going back today so i will definatly post pictures
