I'm trying to get an idea of what a 'good deal' is, and if I should hold out for until that might pop up before gt5 or just get one one.

I just picked up a G27 yesterday at Best Buy. They price match, + an additional 10% off. However, the item has to be in stock. ie. Direct canada you should be able to get best buy to give it to you for 269.99+tax etc.
On that note though, I was only able to get it for 324.00+tax, because none of the online stores had stock. The good part being that as soon as the online stores like direct canada have it back in stock, then I simply take my receipt back in for the additional credit from best buy

I bought my G25 two years ago for $223 CDN at an online store with a physical storefront in Richmond Hill, ON (Chinese/Canadian electronics store). That was considerably lower than I had ever seen it in the US, & at the time, there seemed to be several Canadian online stores offering G25s at similarly discounted prices. Today I saw a G27 in BestBuy for
$379.
As with some other speciality electronics products, the price seems to bounce up & down without any discernible logic.

I got it ... 2008 futurshop,239.99ca' still boxed cause i find that it only works with
1 ps3 game: nfs shift , and i only have the demo (for pc its works with everything but my pc is usless-5 years old)
I would be interested to find-out if any one has photos of home built sim rigs.

Paid $379 cdn for a G25 at Futureshop (I couldn't wait for a deal!). Now I want a racing seat!
