Canary Islands - Plane Crash Was False Alarm

The Beeb are reporting that a plane has crashed off the Canary Islands - anyone got a news link? Can't find the source. I'd presume that to make their feed it's an aircraft of a reasonable size, probably passenger-carrying.

Not good, hopefully a dud report... I'll update this post if/when I find something...

EDIT: Which turned out to be a ship mistaken for a plane. I'll have whatever he's drinking...

I don't know if that is a reputable source or not, but it's the only thing I could find.
