CANCELLED - not enough interest combined with a lack of time - will try again another day

I’m going to host a CTR / BTR race on Friday evening (june 17th).

Room will open around 5:30pm central time for practice, bad laggy connections will be turfed, race will start at 6:15pm.

Room will be called "CTR & BTR ONLY", I will post a number once I have it.

Race will be 10 laps of the 12.95 mile Nurburgring, should take around one and a half hours.

Traction Control - On
ABS – On
All other aids off
No Boost, but penalties and damage will be weak.
Grid start with false start check

Cars can be tuned as you please but 500hp restriction will be the upper limit otherwise people will be off on every corner and taking everyone else with them.

Tires will be unrestricted but softs will get eaten in one lap so may want to consider hards and mediums.

No need to add me as a friend, just post here to show your interest and have a look for the lobby at 5:30 on Friday.

June 10th??!
I love driving these cars around the 'ring, but sadly won't be interested unless TC=off and tires restricted to sports softs or (better) less.

Well I'd love you to join us but I think those who are using a DS3 need traction control on these cars. It can be rather difficult to keep them pointing in the right direction when you are using a controller. That's the reasoning for the tires too. I would agree that race tires can take the fun out of some cars, but the Yellowbird is a nut case regardless of what tires you put on it.

If it's too difficult to stay on the track for more than 5 corners people wont last ten laps. They will get frustrated and bail out. I hope you join us.
