cant beat a fully tuned FPV typhoon F6

my bro has a fully tuned FPV typhoon F6,we been racing around deep forest & midfield raceway, i can never keep up đź‘Ž

ive used almost all performance japanese cars,no wrx can keep up,no evos, only ones that have come close are the nsx type R and mines skyline, still off pace by 2 or so seconds, hes becoming quite anoying so im currently in b spec mode @ midfield raceway, running fully tuned cars against a b-spec run typhoon F6, ive tested by FPV GT which kept up for a few turns before falling behind, around 10 different wrx's, all got killed by 5 or 8 seconds, ive used a few honda S2000s,no luck... so anyways

anyone have any cars in mind that can outpace a Typhoon F6?,a production car,im currently thinking about a BMW M5 or a Saleen S7 fully tuned.

thoughts?

hmmm...production cars i am not sure right at the moment, but im probably saying the S7 or a fully tuned viper SRT10

Please try to use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation to the best of your ability - we have a lot of people on GTPlanet for whom English is not the home language, and so incorrectly spelt words can be confused and badly punctuated sentences mistranslated - let's try and avoid this. Thanks.

Back to the problem at hand, a fully tuned Mine's GT-R34 Skyline should have no trouble whatsoever dispatching with a tuned FPV.

If this isn't sufficient, try an SRT-10 Viper as GT40 MKII says - if you want a setup to go with it, check out the Tuning Competition-prompted setups for that car in the car settings Wiki. I won't recommend any of them in particular here, but I will say that Team666's car won the Competition that week, but Greycap's was the fastest in my hands.

Hope this helps, and... Welcome to GTP.

Anything lighter with more power, on the same tires yer bro's using should work. Nissan Skyline GT-R, Fully tuned, should outpace it. It'd be Godzilla all over again. Hell, use an R32 for fun, and a little discount, too.

Or, if you want a litmus test, get your own F6 Typhoon, tune it to the max, and race your brother to find out if he's better than you.

First and foremost how experienced are you in GT4?

Did you fully tune all the mentioned cars?

Might want to take another look at the Impreza Spec C and Evo VIII MR these are definite giant killers both in real and GT4 life.

Just my opinion for a definitive answer check with Famine he seems to be very well versed in all things GT4.

R32 VSII (6.2 mile/10km) should be more than enought to beat that overweight barge. Typhoon F6 might have better speed on straights, but there's no straight without a curve in the end of it. and maybe you should give us some specs and settings about his car, and those cars that you've tried. that would help us to solve your problem.

Why am I not surprised... ;)

I may as well point out that in my above post, I was assuming that your skills are just about equal to those of your opponent - if he is slightly better, my suggestions should still be fine, but if he's a lot better you might start to run out of road cars that are capable.
A good example is the time I used a stock GT-R33 against a friend in a fully tuned Supra, and won at the Nordschleife. It's not the car, it's the driver, so if you still can't win, get some practice going!

My best recommendation is to stop letting B-Spec test your cars (it doesn't drive like you do anyway) and do it yourself - you will learn the track, the lines and the cars better that way.

toyota supra RZ with stage 5 turbo. DONE!

Ehhh, no. The Supra is far too powerful to be controllable on such tracks.

I highly suggest any NA cars, the FPV isn't that fast?

I think you'd use either an FR or MR as well, AWD has more understeer then FR, however, if you know how to handle the weight balance, any fully modded Skyline should give you a blast đź‘Ť

I can control it just fine, if its tuned right (lots of tcs). And most skylines have just as much power, but cant even touch my supra on the straights.

How about a Ford RS200 fully-tuned? Midfeild is a pretty fast track so you should stay in the boost most of the time. đź‘Ť

Or a Buick Special with stickier tires and a N2O tank. :)

Possibly the greatest oxymoron I've seen all week. Also the greatest display of amateurism this week.

Some, in fact, have more power. Not to mention twice the driven wheels. As for the straights... May I refer you to this?

Maybe a 1000+ hp sl65 amg?
Prizes if you can get it over 999bhp :P

If you really want to win just buy a R390 road car and fully modify it. You will have enough power and downforce to leave alot of race cars in your rear veiw!:)

Viper GTS NA stage 3.

Edit: He hasn't been here since he posted.

Well for me all it would take is a supercharger. For him its his choice.

most of suggestions are overkills.. the power isn't everything.
Indeed not, I know that almost as well as you do ;) but we don't know how good a driver this guy is, so we might as well make sure he's got a safe win

At least, if he hadn't forgotten GTP exists :P

actually the viper isnt really overkill that is if you have a wing on it. it worked pretty well for me.

Some of the fastest fulltune cars I drive with are the Aston Martin DB9, RUF RGT, Nissan Skyline. Go for an underdog in here and just keep trying :P

What time does he set, so I can compare?

Just to clarify, 'overkill' in this case means using a car that excessively outpaces the competition, not something that's too powerful for itself.

Try using a Saleen, as said before. But the best I can recommend is a fully tuned...or stock Audi LeMans Race Car.

He only wants production cars.

How about a fully-tuned 2000 Camaro SS? It handles well and sure as hell fast in a straight line. :sly:

this gets me thinking - I really hope we can get an HSV GTS in GT5. 307kw, 0-100 in under 5, MRC... Surely faster than your F6....
