Hey guys

I completed, and won gold, in all races/championships in the Beginner and Professional category, and now I try to enter the last race in Professional, which is the GT World Championship, but then it says "Error: In order to participate in this race event, you will first need to win all Beginner and Professional events".

But I already did that. Is it because all the dealership events also count here? I mean, of couse I can't win all the Professional races before i enter, because the race IS in the Professional category :S

Hi there, & welcome to :gtplanet:.
You're not alone in asking this, but unfortunately the answer is always the same, you've either missed a race, confused a gold trophy with a bronze one (they do look similar on some TVs) or you've won all the races but not completed the championship (you must win the gold championship trophy too in order to unlock GTWC.)

It's only the Beginner and Professional events that count towards this so pay particular attention to those races, and especially the Tuning Car Grand Prix, World Classic Car Championship and World Compact Car Championship which you must have won gold for the overall championship, not just golds for the 5 individual races.

Here's a few more threads that've asked the same, and their answers, some with useful links and advice:

And for more help, once you find your missing race/races or championship trophy, here's some great threads for advice on how to beat GTWC:

this one contains a lot of links in my reply:

I need Tips for GT4 World Championship.

Hope this all helps, but as it's all been done and discussed many times before there's no merit in doing it all over again, so this thread is being closed.
