Have you gotten gold on the first 2 or gotten the licenses required?

when does the sarthe circuts come up?
If you have the required license you can enter either of the 24 hour races in the Endurance Hall. Otherwise you won't run across it until the Gran Turismo World Championship in the Professional Hall. Then it is in all but two championships in the Extreme Hall. It is also in a couple of the championships in the European Hall and won't require more than a B-license.

No problem.

However, I would like to point out our GTP Game Guides section for GT4.

The button for this is in the bar at the top of the screen, just below the banner.

thanks for the help. i found the sarthe in euro hall which i never would have looked under.

i still dont understand the missions though. i passed the 1st two with a fiat 500 and a bmw 330. there is no medal here just beat the other car which i did but still no mission #3

next question has to do with my car. old audi quatro coupe with every mod available. it has great acceleration esp with nitrous but only tops out at 122 mph which doesnt do it at le mans. i cant find a final gear ratio to change so what could it be. car has about 450 hp and weight under 3000 lbs.

Well, it is in France, which is in Europe.

Have you tried pressing the "right" button
That sounds mean, but it is honestly the best I can come up with, because I can scroll to the right all the way through Mission 34, even though I have only beaten up through Mission 10.

I assume you mean the 1982 Audio Quattro? And everything is equipped, not just bought?

Are you sure that you equipped, not just bought, the fully customizable transmission? You seem to understand that adjusting gear ratios can basically move you from faster acceleration to a higher top speed, but if you can't find the gear ratio then maybe you don't have the transmission equipped?

And which race? What cars are you up against? You may be in the wrong car for the competition.

Either it doesn't have "every mod available", or you're not clicking on the little wrench next to the transmission heading on the Settings board.

oh well. now i understand the driving missions. scroll to the right.

i bought the mods for the audi. i have the super close tranny but i guess i need the fully customized version to change ratios for lemans top speed

now i have something to live for this weekend. besides ny giants

thanks

The super close transmission would trade top speed for acceleration. Try the stock transmission to get a feel of what the top speed should be.

thanx 4 helping me find the rest of the driving missions.

2 bad i cant beat them though

Quick tip...

A keyboard has more keys than a cellphone. Assuming English to be your first language, you ought to be typing "thanks", "for" and "Too".

Please also take a little time to look around GTP before asking questions. Your questions - like how to adjust gear ratios - can be answered with a little patience and a little looking (including in the game manual).
