Can't find it

Why buy it? I got the entire series for free ok? If you want to wait till they release it in the US and have crappy dubs then go ahead. I'm pretty sure there is no legal sub DVDs anyway. Its not like you are supporting the creators by buying those DVDs.

hahah thats right, but i cant get it to watch on DVD players, because i can watch on computer but not my DVD player, so thats why i buy it, because i love cars and drifting, but its ok, when i think back, its like damn what a waste!!!!!!!!!

enKrypt, who the hell wants to watch Initial D dubbed? :odd:
It just ruins the whole show.:banghead:
And why wouldn't there be 'legal' subs?

I would buy those DVD's too but there's no paying methods I could use to buy from outside Finland...

hehe, my computer is hooked up to my 3 foot something inch tv ^_^ gotta love wireless ^_^

I saw the trailer for dubbed Initial D, the music was bad. I don't recall hearing any characters voices. I may watch the dubs though so I can watch whats going on and know what they are saying. I've already seen the whole thing with subs.

And there wouldn't be any legal subs because Initial D anime hasn't been released in a predominately English speaking country yet. The subbed DVDs that you can buy are still fansubs.

But what makes them illegal?

they're basically free pirated episodes....anything that is licensed but fansubbed is illegal. In this case, Tokyopop already bought Initial D and licensed it. It'z now illegal to download or make fansubs
