Can't get into online races

(I dunno if this is is the right place but anyway)

I can't join any of the online races. I have a PSN and the internet on my PS3 works but whenever I try to join a race a message saying

Entry was refused due to network incompatibility with the room owner
[774]

appears. How can I stop this.

Very annoying, I know. I had this too all day yesterday. I just ended up clicking only on those rooms that have at least 2 of these "reception" bars all the way on the right. The rooms that gave me that error message seemed to have no bars at all.
If thats not the problem then its some online issue and PD will fix it soon or do maintenance. :)
 
I had this all day yesterday too. I hope this is a server issue at PD, because I couldn't get into a friend's lounge when I normally can. We thought our ISPs were having issues.
