Can't Re-Download Add-on

I recently upgraded to the PS4 Pro. I backed up my content from the old PS4 all except for the applications and restored it onto the new PS4 Pro successfully. After re-downloading GT Sport, I noticed my gift cars from my deluxe purchase say they have not been authorized or something - they're grayed out. But when I go to redeem the code again, it says that it has already been redeemed and I cannot re-download the content on my new PS4 Pro. What can I do?

Can you guide me as to how to do that?

Activating your system

The PS4 system you use to sign in to PlayStation Network for the first time should be automatically activated as your primary PS4 system.

To check if that's the case: select (Settings) > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4] > [Activate].

Restore Licenses

Select (Settings) > [Account Management] > [Restore Licenses].

If content that you have downloaded from PlayStation Store or any add-on content fails to start, this might fix the problem.

Good Luck! :gtpflag:

These suggestions did not work. I did have to activate and then make the new PS4 my primary. I restored licenses. Still the cars say, “Cannot find rights information. Please download the content again.”

I tried again to redeem the code and download the content after these steps but it says it’s already been redeemed and will not let me download.

Try going to the Library > Purchased and see if you can download the content. It may show up as an add-on under GTS and not in the library directly.

Hey guys, I checked the library and I did see the add-on in my list but still couldn’t download it because it said it was already installed. Just tried to restore licenses a couple of times and for some reason it worked after that. I saw the content install when I launched GTSport and all content has now been restored. Thanks for everyone’s help!

I have had this issue since day 2 with 3 of my DLC cars (Its ok they are duplicates) and a number of other people on here have also had this issue. I guess we will just have to wait for a fix! Note it just happened to me - not when i upgraded to PS4 Pro (Im still a poor regular PS4 bum )

it's not working, ive tried 5 times and i only get the message "Cannot find rights information. Please download the content again." :(

Have you tried to activate your console as your primary one?

In case, you haven't.

Then try restoring the licences again.

Also any extra downloadable content is tight to the first account you have installed the game.

Only mentioning it.

Other things to try:

1. Log out and log back in

2. Are you actually signed into the profile associated with that account?

Sign in manually. Go to Settings > PlayStation Network > Sign in.

Click ‘Yes’ if asked if this is your Primary PS4 account.

3. Check your PSN status

4. Deactivate as primary PS4 account
(sometimes deactivating works too)

I tried the log out and log back in and still doesnt work.
I am signed into the right profile and the system is set to my primary one.
My PSN status is still good, online, have +.

I havent tried deactivating it and re-activating it.. i could try that

but i did notice that i have 2 renault LM prototype cars. maybe thats the reason one of them is giving me that message... because i already have the car from another set of DLC codes?

Hmm, could be possible. Can you delete that second one? (with that message)

Otherwise, (if possible) you should re-install the whole game again, keeping in mind not to activate codes with the same cars.

I don't see any other possible solution. ;)

If I delete and re-install the game, will it remove the DLC packs i had installed? also im not sure why the RBi LM Renault car would cause this problem. ive had 2 of the same LM cars before from daily rewards :( (2 porsche LM cars)

Well, it seems daily rewards compared to gift cars from a redeemed code (same cars), sometimes causes issues on GT sport, as you can see.

I deleted the game completely, re-installed it and the DLC packs also re-installed. Launched the game, and same issue. two of the same LM cars with one saying theres an issue and needs to be redownloaded or w/e. :(

OK, i searched deeper and found Sony's reply to a similar situation of redeemed missing and non working cars.

So, something like the below. That's your case right?

It's quite long, and i don't really know if that will help you any further...

It seems to be a procedure that you should follow, only if the PS4 has failed dramatically.

I don't know how that below should help you for getting your missing cars back, or at least make them appear normally.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for your call about PlayStation 4 (PS4).

I’m sorry to hear that you‘ve experienced a problem with your PS4. Please try the troubleshooting steps below. You can try to start the game in-between every step to see if the issue has been resolved.

Please check if your account is set up as Primary.
Please follow the instructions bellow on how you can set up your account as a Primary on your PS4:

1) Go to Settings
2) PlayStation Network/Account management
3) Activate as your Primary PS4

If your account is set up as a Primary on your console, proceed with the steps bellow:

1. Restoring Licenses
Select [Settings] > [PlayStation
2122.png
Network/Account Management] > [Restore License]

2. Back up your saved data on a USB-stick. Please check the link bellow on how you can do that:
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/backup.html

3. Delete the game
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/data_system.html

4. Restore the saved data:
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/backup.html

5. Reinstall the Game
https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/g...s4-download-or-stream-from-playstation-store/

6. Safe Mode
If none of the steps above solves the issue, you may be able to rectify the problem using the consoles “Safe Mode” menu. Details on how to access and use safe mode can be found on the link bellow:
https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/g...-system-stability/safe-mode-on-playstation-4/

I'd like you to try option the following options:

5 - Rebuild Databases
6 - Initialize PS4
7 - Initialize PS4 (Reinstall System Software)

IMPORTANT: Option 6 and 7 will erase all data on the console. Information on how you can back up your saved data can be found here:https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5228/~/manage-ps4-save-game-data.

The System Software needed for option 7 can be found here:
http://us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/ps4/

I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions please contact PlayStation Support using the contact details below or by replying to this e-mail.

Thanks,
