I thought by participating in all the races (championships and events) and successfully winning all of them would mean that you would have completed the game 100%! However.. I have done exactly that but my percentage status is reading 99.3% completed. WHY THE HELL IS THIS??? What do i have to do to reach 100%? Does anyone know how to help me? Have I missed out something?

Yes.
Not helpful, I know, but you're the only one who can check you've completed everything. If you've not reached 100% then you haven't.

I'm at 29% since April and never moved since. I only race track meets, practice and photo race.

I believe the Audi TT rumor is false.
People were entering the 3 single races when infact the race is a championship event.

It's not possible to get a "bug copy" if everyone else in the same region has no problem. All of the discs from the same region are identical. Either you've not done the championship for a particular series (and only won the individual races) ot you've just missed out a manufacturer race/driving mission etc...

Maybe it's possible to copy/past a 100 % completed MAX gamesave into your game. 💡 ....that is, if you have the MAX software and USB stick.

EDIT: Forget my message. I FOUND IT!!!!! Just now I noticed an empty circle in the 1000! Miles championship at the European Events section. I did all the 4 races of this championship, but apparantly forgot the championship.
I must be getting "kippig", as we say here. 
I am glad I found it. Now I can finally go for 100 % and that last price car. Yeah!!
My mission 1 does have the "mission clear" banner, like all the other missions. Hopefully by next week I have won all races/championships for the second time now. But to my understanding and knowledge it's all gold shining into my eyes when I check all the awards.OGLE B

Thanks! Yes, I punched myself to my head a few times for not seeing this empty championship box when I double checked everything. Too bad I did not start at the European Events section the second time.
When I started for the second time winning every dealer event, race and championship I also wrote down the total time it took me to complete every race, just because I was wondering how many hours of gameplay this GT4 is offering. I have done about 90 percent of all races now for the second time and hopefully next week I will know how long it took me to win everything.
