cant see added friends in remote play

I have tried to create a race tonight, and having been added last night by 3 or 4 people, when i go to start the remote race, i cant see anyone to select other than my own profile? Am I doing something wromg or am i just mental

The gran-turismo.com servers have been getting swamped with the introduction of Remote Racing. I've seen added friends not show up for 24 hours.

It's been 50/50 for me when the site is working fine, or gone down under maintenance.

Once you add each other you both need to log onto GT5 before you can race each other (apparently logging on to the game is how you agree to the online terms and conditions).

So if you've both agreed to friend requests but only you've turned on the game since that time, your new friends won't appear on your remote racing list until they've turned on the game since adding you to their list as well. Once they load up the game one time, they'll be there for all of your racing needs.

I just went through this yesterday.

When adding new people make sure you log out and log in again, they should show up after that.
