Can't Unlock Gran Turismo World Championship

For some odd reason the game won't let me participate in the Gran Turismo World Championship in the Professional Events. I have beaten and achieved first place in every single race in the Beginner and Professional events. But when I click the GT World Championship, this message STILL pops up: "You need to win all Beginner and Professional Events first to participate in this event." Has this happened to anyone else, and does anyone know why?

Many, many people have posted on this one before; and without exception they have all missed a race.

Most commonly they have either mistaken a bronze cup for a gold one (very easy to do) or they have raced a championship series as single races (you have to win the championship not just the single races).

3. Why can't I enter the Extreme Hall?

You need gold in all series races in Beginner and Professional Halls to access the final event in Professional Hall or any event in Extreme Hall, and also make sure they are not Bronze instead of Gold because they can look quite similar. If you skip a race or lose a race during a series, you must go back and race that as well.

As you can see in the quote above, this one is covered in the FAQ's at the top of the page, you need to go back and very, very carefully check every single race (the diary can help out in this).

The most asked question on GTPlanet... how could you skip it if you searched?

That "odd reason" is that you haven't won everything, as crude as it sounds. My personal bet is that you're missing some championship but have won it as single races.
