I am struggling to win any of the Seasonal Events!, i most often come 3rd!

What are the easiest to races to win?
What cars and exact tune up is required?

I need to get more credits but unless i can get a race i can easily win to build them up

How long have you been playing? Peruse the threads relating to individual events for all the best and most helpful info, and you'll alsosee many players will have cars on share which are set up for specific events.

If you're a new player, I would suggest go and do the licenses first to get a handle on the game itself, then come back to the seasonals. You will be a better driver and get more satisfaction out of the game that way.

Welcome to the site 👍

If you search back through this thread you'll find a thread for each of the previous seasonal races... and in the thread will be information on what cars people have used along with various tunes.

I run the 500pp races from Challenges 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Reasonably easy to win with a variety of cars. My favourite is a Maserati Gran Turismo S 08 with the best tyres you can afford it's an easy win on most of those races. My favourite for easy money is the Tokyo R (Some number or other).

Time effort and technique. I have been playing for years but still suck at certaj. Things and corners. Only by practising for hours can you fix it.

If you have a Toyota gt86 and a BMW M3 GTR they can easily win the 400pp and 500pp a spec events 1 to 5.

But like everyone is saying it takes time and effort, especially if you are new to the game

What do you guys recommend for the old 650pp races?

I use the Nissan GT-R-R35 TC. It has all kinds of HP and handling. I am able to outrun the race cars easily, my favorite course being Nurb. If you are just begining racing, the toughest compitition in Online A spec is the Mclaren Race car. You can always leave the race and the opponents will reset to eaisier cars.

Hey Phoenix, welcome.

Listen, I will try to post some setup's on here later, but in the meantime could you post a specific event you would like to win? and I will get that setup posted as soon as I get back from taking my kids to school. I promise it will be a car that will win and a setup as easy to drive as possible. Because that's the way I need them also(and I've been playing this since GT1) lol. And we can go from there until you get a little more comfortable with the game and everything.

Can't even seem to get close to 1st on the Tsukuba race for the Civic series. I can manage 4th at best, and that's driving the everlasting heck out of my '97 Ek9. That '08 Civic is broken for this series. Heck, even the '79 Civic gave me hell on that race.

K give a little while and I will get something posted. And if you don't have the car, just friend me and I will put mine up so you can borrow it. Anyone else that needs to borrow one, just send me an invite. I'm gonna get on as soon as I finish all the morning crap I have to do.

Oh sorry, I forgot to post my game name, BoDaddy12

Anyway, finally back on. Apparently my wife has been in my pants drawer again because she left me a huge list of things to do this morning. lol Actually, I work from home and had very little work to do until I record a rock band tonight, so I promised I would do some housework.

K let me see what I got for those races. I'll edit in the setup and also put my car online.

Ok here's what I used just now to run the Tsukuba race for the Civic series and won very easily. Went into first place just before the long straight on the 4th lap. I ran consistent 108.2's except for 1st lap

Honda Civic Type R '08

aero only on front and sides(if you can on sides) no rear areo
weight reduction 1
chassis reinforcement
ECU tuning
engine tuning stage 3
racing air filter
sports cat converter
racing exhaust
high rpm turbo(may try in a minute with the low one and raise engine percentage to see what happens)
full custom trans
twin-plate clutch
semi-racing flywheelad gone down
adjustable LSD
full custom suspension

Ballast @ 150 kg +50 53/47 balance

power @ 50% hp220 pp215(after I ran it, I was able to change to 58.3% 221hp) because the hp had dropped

Trans-----I used the tranny trick reset to default. move final gear all the way to the right and the top speed all the way to the left. That sets it up for Tsukuba. Then just move the final gear for the other tracks.
1st 3.175
2nd 2.316
3rd 1.773
4th 1.416
5th 1.179
6th 1.024
final 6.000
bottom window(top speed) 112
top window(top speed) 115

LSD frt 16/22/10

Suspension
ride height f -19 r-16
spring rate f 9.5 r 5.9
dampers(ext) f 6 r 5
dampers(comp) f 5 r 3
anti-roll f 6 r 5
camber f 2.3 r 0.9
toe f 0.06 r -0.18
brakes f 6 r 4

I will put it online right now.

And if anyone else is having trouble just let us know what you need. Actually, after I try to beat the stupid overtake challenge(which I'll be pissed off at again here shortly) I will start trying to post one for each event from there back except maybe the time trials.

Spec A challenges becomes very easy if you for 400PP use Mercedes 190E 2.5 and for 500PP use Nissan R390 GTI Road Car. Both of them shall the power be reduced to max. allowable PP and using racing soft tires, no specific tuning is required. You should in many cases easily be in the lead before the end of lap 1.

K I just put a Civic online for the Civic race and a Lotus for the British lightweight race.

I'm heading from the civic race to the latest event. Just send a friend request to borrow the cars.

Can't better my Silver at World Classic Cars: Eiger. That Ginetta!!! I was using the Alfa TZ2. And I haven't had any difficulties with any of other events so far, and even within WCCS it was an easy Gold at Cote d'Azur (admittedly one of the AI's worst tracks). Tips?

Just reload the race so the Ginetta isn't there or starts further back

Do you have the '66 Jaguar race car? Just tested it on Eiger and was in 1st at the beginning of the 4th lap. If you don't have one just send me an invite and you can use mine.

Hm, thought that only happened if there were 2+ "king cars", like the Toyota 7 and Chaparral combo variations in Historic Cup.

Thanks man but I am yet to do the Indy 500 A-Spec, and that's what I'll do now for the car. I'm guessing it's more succesful because the XJ13 has higher max dforce than the TZ2. Will add you anyway in a bit :)

Edit: You haven't put up your PSN ID! I'm assuming it's Bodaddy then, sending now

Sorry, I think I posted it earlier in the thread but just in case, it's BoDaddy12. So since you don't have it yet, just use mine if you need it then you can get your own later.

And I think I put it online but I need to check but my wife is watching 'THE VOICE'. ok ok I confess, I'm watching as well. lol. I guess since I own a recording studio and audio production company, maybe you guys will cut me some slack about that. ha

Ah, I only ever check if you have it where it normally is, ie on the left under the avatar. Now we find out what Bodaddy thinks of random PSN requests! :D

Kind of you mate but no rush for that race, got plenty other things to do atm!

And that's cool man, I was studying Audio & Recording tech at uni 👍

Just added a couple of invites.

Never even noticed about the psn name up there. I'll see if I can put mine there, don't know why it's not.
