I know that I am probably missing some parts, however, all I have at the moment is a Vizio E320VP LCD TV, a LG Optimus S(with a 16GB memory stick), and the computer that I am typing this thread from. I want to capture video from my PS3 for a Let's Play, and I want a direct feed from the PS3 to capture video. Problem is that I am on a budget, like a pack of gum budget, and I want to improvise if possible. Help?

If that's all you have, not going to happen. I'm sure you could record what's on the screen on the LG but at 640x480 @ 17fps, it's honestly going to look like crap. But maybe that's alright. If you do go that route, do your viewers a favor and make sure the camera stays nice and still. Nothing worse than watching a video where the camera keeps getting jostled around. Check my Indy videos for evidence of that. :P

Best bet - save up and get a real capture device.

There are some 480p/576p capture devices for 20-30 dollars which may be fine but I recommend to save up for a good HDMI HD PVR. 👍
