Car Banners

Hi I'm currently starting my on GT site but both me and my mate who is working on the layout (perticually the banner) are having problem. We both come from a Final Fantasy background and nether of us are perticually good at image editing/manipulation and we are stuggline to convert our skills from characters to cars.

Basicly we are trying to make the banner for the layout, but all our attempts turn out pritty bad. I have uploaded a few attempts to my server, I am open to any sergestions or ideas you can give.

Your attemps at making banners are good. (compared to me )

This one is good but the URL text needs to look more like:

 

[Perfect Balance]

I liek the last banner, but I think it should consist of only 3 pictures, and make the fades less visible.
