The theme this time around seems a little limited in scope. One idea I had is to go for the low budget race teams from European hill climbing, but rules demand a spoiler and widebody, which these select hill climbers lack.

The Audis, 206, Eclipse and Celica are entries I'd expect, so I'm going with the RX-8 on this one. I'm impressed with what I coughed up, and if you can read the side decals, the first letter of each decal will spell MAZDA, similar to a certain James May taking the piss to Autocar.

My thoughts on each car:

SPD's RX-8- Looks great. Reminds me of Mad Mike's RX-8 though.
Gira's Eclipse- Very creative and the first contestant to use a custom livery.
Jason's Civic- Decent. Also a good livery for Best Buy.
Citroen's Supra- Decent.
Cowboy's Impreza= More of a track build car but it looks good. Oh and he's new as well to this contest. Welcome!
Glover's Celica- Decent.

Hard to choose though.

I don't remember saying that you must have a Wide body kit.

Well, what I had in mind had neither of those.

I see sports cars all around. Although there's no way to make an Escudo Pikes Peak of sorts with the SUVs the game provides, I actually liked making that RX-8. Maybe it's because..

Although: no Audis? I mean, I would like to see an S1 tribute of sorts. Why hadn't I done that?

I'll say it here, this competition has made me rethink the game. I never realized how much of a slog the back half of the game is, and I'm still hours away from finishing.

The easiest fix would be to roll back to the previous version. I also have had issues with that update, complete lack of internet use specifically, and that worked for me... Hopefully you still have that option.

Got to work my laptop in safe mode, so I'm cleaning it meanwhile to see if that solves the issues! . Here's the template I did of the livery, using photoshop cs5 and the ART FACTORY 2 design as a base (it replaces it too), and then using TextED as the import tool
