Car collection - Invitation cars or Legendary cars?

What do you think would be the best way to proceed to collect all cars, considering I can't afford everything...
Prioritize invitation cars:
  • PRO: now we have all invitations, then they will pop up from tickets, so they are rng related and without huge luck I don't really know when I'll get them. But maybe PD will do something about this...
  • CONS: 20 millions to buy all cars are a lot to farm within 13th may
Prioritize legendary cars:
  • PRO: they are better cars in general and we don't know the rotation how long will it takes, but at least is not rng related
  • CONS: even if I try, I can't buy all (like the ferrari I just missed) due to huge costs of some of them

Collect the cars you want, when you want/can.
This. I'm ignoring all 9 million and up cars, unless there's one I must get, but usually the expensive ones aren't important to me.

Chances are they might tweak the prices later, so paying that much now could be a waste.

My approach to Invite vs. Legendary is simple - how much use is the car actually going to be?

Invite cars have great performance, but outside of custom races, there are extremely limited scenarios where you can actually race them, due to PP restrictions.

Legendary cars are somewhat similar in that there is very little use for them practically, but Legendary cars come with history.

That's kind of where it sits - are you a racer that wants to drive cutting-edge cars with insane 0-100kmph speeds, or are you the kind of racer that wants to race cars with historical significance?

I'd get the invitation cars while you still can. Each of the Hagerty's cars should reliably come around once every 6-8 weeks, but that roulette wheel is rigged so dirty. My last 4-star wheel didn't even have an invitation on it, and of course the magnets on the deep-dished low-cash prize drew the ball right to it.

It doesn't take a lot of skill to farm the 700 PP Sarthe race for 825,000 Cr. every 30 minutes or so, though you do have to mind the weather. The good news - if you find weather you like, replaying the race will give you the same weather.

Personally, I just bought up all the invitation cars that I had left over after the invites that you got during menus. That was about 14.7mill worth of cars.

After the tickets from menus dried up, I was able to score only one invite, and it was for the useless Citroen VGT that I already bought from menu ticket invites. And I don't even know how the invite for Ferrari or Aston Martin would work. If I get a Ferrari invite, can I buy all 3 or is it one invite per one of the three cars? Do I have to pray for three different Ferrari invites if I were to miss this opportunity? At this rate I feel like invite cars will be much more difficult to obtain than legendary cars. There really are maybe 5-6 legendary cars that I still want. I'm not sure how expensive the Gr.3 McLaren will be, but I don't think the other ones are particularly expensive. I'm not into buying up the 20mill cars so I don't care for the unicorns. I basically just buy the race car legendaries. I do want the road version of the McLaren but I'll get there when I get there.

So bottom line- I don't buy expensive legendaries so it was easy for me to justify spending my credits on invite cars that seem to be harder to obtain right now.

I have been saving for the Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani invitation cars (12,6M) and maybe the 330P4. I already bought the cheap Alpine and the Jaguar XJR9. The rest of the cash I'm going to keep for the F1 GTR (short tail) or the 917K.

You can get all of the invite cars from a particular manufacturer with a single invite. Before the mass-invite, I won one for Aston Martin and was able to buy both of their invite-only vehicles.

I’ve been buying a lot of hypercars this week, tbh there not much use for racing but I have great fun time trialling them against each other and also shaving off tenths or so from fastest lap. I have 11 million credits sitting there as was grinding for the Ferrari but I don’t care about trophies so am in no desperate hurry to get the three 24 hr cars trophy. I’ll end up stoned and spend every penny on stupid cars like a Smokey and the bandit replica, always happens.

Desperate for a F1 road car to appear in Hagerty legendary. At least you know the legendary cars come back. Don’t know how often the invites happen.

I know how you feel, my 14.7m shopping spree yesterday was definitely fueled by a lot of alcohol lol

That good to know, they don't make it very clear. But I drunk bought all the invite cars last night so I guess that's taken care of lol.

I bought the LaFerrari, FXXK, One77, Citroen VGT and I think that's it for me for invitation cars.

Legendary cars from now on.

Look up the AFK method and earn credits while sleeping, at work and at school and grab all of them like I did....

I've genuinely never cheated in games like this before. I started the AFK method not long after PD nerfed the the fishermans ranch payouts and playing that felt like a complete waste of time.

I continued the AFK method due to the lack of content in TT which makes the credit grind is extremely limited and boring. I have always earnt all of the cars legit in previous GT's but the grind in this one feels 10x more than it ever was

I use sardegna for money making, with 787 on hards you can do the race without pit and win with more than 1 minute margin. I think I'll go for invite cars, mainly because of this...

Go for the invitation cars. Legendary will rotate and the car you want will show up eventually but there is no guarantee those invitations will ever show up.

If i not buy some of invitation cars, when time expired they will disappeared or not???Before last update, when my invitation times have been expired,i still have all invitation cars to buy in Brand central?
