Feedback welcomed, on the logo and on the name itself.

'Sangue' means blood in Portuguese. The whole idea is just a thought among friends, and what bigger step than making a logo? Well... besides making cars, by which time I ask if anyone knows the definitive CAD making program I could use?

I don't think it's the best name for a Car Company, to be honest. :)
Good luck with it. 👍

O/T: É "Aston" e não "Austin" como tens na assinatura.

Im not sure if blood is a good name either but if i didnt know what it ment then "sangue" is ok.

As far as cad goes i would use either

PTC Pro engineer www.ptc.com
Solidworks www.solidworks.com
Alias studio tools www.alias.com

Those 3 are industry standard CAD packages for al design areas including automobiles. Also here is a little reading for you about the world of CAD, i subscribe to this magazing for free and its a monthley of bi-weekly magazine dedicated to CAD design, in the last issue i got it had a review on Alias studio tools, its worth a read.

good luck and cant wait to see some of your car design here on GTP.

here are two cars done with other software (not cad programmes) but alias studio tools can produce such images, make your models in a cad programme like solidworks (easier to use than PTC) and put it into studio tools and make it look like the images below.

VERY sweet looking stuff, Sprite, very useful, thanks.

Diabolical-Culpa minha... :D Sempre pensava que era 'Austin.'

I thought the name wouldn't be so bad. I mean, there's a Lambo known as "bat," which doesn't sound quite good in English either. I guess the name could be changed, but I think the logo looks nice.

What kind of name... (mostly Portuguese names, but I dont have the accentations on my keyboard so I just leave them without)

Portuguese-English
Conquista-Conquest
Campeao-Champion
Vitoria-Victory
Marrismo-just came into mind, no meaning
Primeiro-First
Vence-Win

Which sounds best?

Revised everything up, logo piece still same, different name, wondering which font looks better. I like the left... but the right has its classic touch...

It just comes down to what kind of cars you want this company to produce. I say if they are sports or exotic cars, then go with the one on the left. If you are going for a classic type look or luxury car, then I would go with the one on the right. It's all up to you though.
