Car football/soccer

The Coffee Breaks were normal driving on a special circuit, like Ghymkana, "Autoball" is something else. It wouldnt work anyway, imagine this with the AI from GT.

I would really like to see GT6, before i die. If PD put have the stuff people come with, GT6 would not be out for ten years! I would rather have never before driven race tracks, then a football game!👍

Well since the top gear test track is confirmed, maybe this will be a mini game.

With hammond in datsun, jezza in a ford GT and captain slow in a veyron

And last but not least the stig in a morris marina.

Haha, that would just end up in a horrible accident. They should bring back the VW Fox and the Toyota Aygo in GT5, just for car football. Make it an online multiplayer game :dopey:

That would be the worst thing ever to happen to GT.
Not really. Some of the most bizarre things from a game's original intent have made for some of the most relaxing & humorous situations.

I still remember when soccer games got into CSS. It was just good ol' fun watching everyone run for a ball instead of shooting each other & trash talking. Who says it can't be any different for cars? I mean, car games have created Cat & Mouse and that's insanely popular.

Well the Ghymkana course is probably in, and cars have decent collision detection now. And it is possible to move object with a car already (like the barriers in the GC demo). So making that to a online carball mode wouldnt be that much more work. Just need to add goals and a counting system.

Can anyone explain what "Gran Turismo for Boys" is? I've seen the Wiki page but still don't know. Surely PD wouldn't waste their time making a child friendly GT.

What my question how will PD go about making a child friendly simulator? I mean it's friendly enough as it is for those kids who play racing games (a rarity these days amongst the flood of FPS repetition).

You know, I thought the same thing when I read it at first, but after watching those Top Gear videos, I gotta say, it's seems pretty cool.

Think about it, I'm sure it wouldn't be too much work to put in, and it would require some awesome skill. If I could get a handbrake onto my Playseat somehow, in addition to my G25's H-shifter, the end result would be some awesome one-handed driving while constantly shifting or e-braking with my right hand.

I think it'd be a lot of fun, and the only logical reason PD couldn't put it in is simply because they hadn't thought of it.

Oh come on guys you can't have GT be serious all the time. Having car football will be one of those things that will the game memorable. Plus it'll be a fun multiplayer game online and offline.
