Car just revs

Been using DFP in Gran Turismo 4 for a while, thought I try Gran Turismo 3 again, only problem the car doesnt move, it will just rev.
Same in auto and manual, tried changing buttons.

Have you tried disconnecting the DFP and reinserting it again? I don't know what the problem is, so is it like when you press the accelerator, the car just revs and doesn't move am i correct? Then again, maybe the CD itself is giving the problem....
