Looks like the day 1 patch (ver 1.01) has changed the economy quite a bit, including tuning parts and car price.

No stroker kits? Aka "displacement up" as in GT4?

I was hoping that made it into the game. I wanna increase displacement on an RB26.

When I upgraded the engine tuning and weight reduction of a car, I can skip the first two and install the third stage of both engine tuning and weight reduction, unlike in GT5. Is it better to perform all 3 in sequence or am I doing it right?

I believe PD changed the engine tuning so that stage 2 includes all the stage 1 stuff automatically and stage 3 includes all stage 1 & 2 stuff.
Also you can switch between the different stages of tuning now or remove it completely unlike GT5 where it was permanent.
Same for weight reduction.👍👍
