I'm tied between the GT4-GT6 car cover cars because all of them are good looking supercars. Not to mention you can see the change of cover car selection as time goes by. From economy/street cars going to supercars such as the GT, C7 Vette, and SLS.

I'm going for the Vette because it matches the theme of GT6. The car color also matches GT6's theme color.

Never knew the GT1 cover was actually a Camaro under the cover until now.

The GT5 cover car the Mercedes SLS gets my vote.

Well looking at my NTSC GT2 cover right now. Where is the S2000? I don't see it anywhere, did the McLaren F1 overtake it?

I remember hoping the mystery car on GT1's cover was an NSX.

Voted for 4 anyway...

My GT2 cover definitely looked like this one, which was definitely a McLaren F1 and spawned countless Milk-laren F1 jokes back in the GTF days:

The PAL version was a valvecover or intake manifold...

And if my memory serves me right the disks were an FD3S RX7 for Sim mode and a Viper GTS-R for Arcade mode.

There was an S2000 in the intro video, however.

I couldn't decided between the SLS and the GT, but I ended up going with the Ford because I find it a more collectable/desirable car.

Where's the C6 ZR1 from GTPSP?
The only cover cars I featured are the ones that are in the main games. Not spin-off titles like GTPSP. If that's your case then I should've added also the GTR Tokyo Motor Show Concept from GT Concept.

Whoops, looks like the one I used the Arcade Mode screen as a cover car. Apologies.

S2000. When that car came out, I didn't care about how much horsepower big engines put out. 9000rpm, 163mph, 6-speed and a convertible in the year 1999/2000. Was unreal for its time. I should have bought that used black one with red interior, back in 2003.

I'm not 100% on it, but the PAL cover for GT3 had something that looked like a RUF, I think. Maybe the CTR2, which I'd probably vote for.

Given the options, I'd say Ford GT.

Ford GT easily as GT4 was my favorite in the series by a long margin. Well, that & the Mac wasn't an option. :P

GT4's cover is incredible. Ford GT all day.

GT1's may be more iconic but doubt most people know what the car is.

Right there in the NTSC-J version.

It's a pretty strange poll since it doesn't take the different regional covers of GT1-GT3 into account and it's not even consistent about the region it chooses, going from US to JPN to US again.

How long do these polls stay open? I always seem to miss them.

Oh well, I would have voted for the Camaro just because I think it was the best boxart of the series. And I had no idea it was a Camaro under the cover.

How come the Acura CL 3.2 Type-S '01 is Gran Turismo 3's cover car?
I mean; I can't see anything on either the back/front covers that show that it is the Acura CL 3.2 Type-S '01

Could we start making new car polls? I've been looking through the old threads for these and they really seem interesting, it would be nice to bring them back.
