1999-2002 Skyline GT-R (R34) - IMO the best looking of all the GT-R's (closely followed by the R33) and was such an amazing car both on and off the track. Even though it wasn't as dominant as the Group A/JGTC R32, it still dominated JGTC and was formidable in endurance racing, with a Falken GT-R finishing 5th overall (1st in the A8 Class) in the 2004 Nurburgring 24 Hours.

I can't decide. R30 is on the bottom. The rest are in the hunt. R31 is out of its league a little too maybe. R32 and 33 are my favorite newer cars. But, the whole Godzilla thing... R34 and 35 may be just overplayed... '69-'72 suffer from it too, the '70 Chevelle SS of Japan.
The '73 wins out of being super rare, and quite a looker imo.

My gut says the R32. It just looks like it means business from every angle. Especially in the iconic gun grey.

You can't expect me to choose one! I'm in love with anything post-R32, but I went with the R34 because it is the rarest and the most iconic out of my 5 possible candidates.

Oh lawd... For me, it has to be either the R34 or the C110.

The R34 has been a love affair of mine ever since Gran Turismo introduced it to me. It hasn't been the poster child of JDM performance for years and, to me, it's the most beautiful of the modern GT-Rs. The design is masculine without being overly busy, iconic and has aged very, very well. Among the modern GT-Rs (32 to 35), I'd also assume it to be the rarest over here.

However, the C110 is, to me, one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Can't go wrong with a classic anyway and, well, it's not as overrated as the C10 (if you can call a C10 overrated, that is). Had to go with it...

Tough decision between the C110, R31, and R33, but I eventually went with the R31. Why? Because it is easily the most underrated of the "R" Skylines, it's the last rear-wheel drive "R" Skyline, and the R31 Skyline is one of best-looking Skylines in my opinion.

How I would rank them:
1. R31 GTS-R
2. R33 GT-R
3. C110 GT-R
4. C10 GT-R
5. R32 GT-R
6. R30 RS Turbo
7. R34 GT-R
8. 2007-2016 R35 GT-R
9. 2016+ R35 GT-R

Ooooph! Tough choice!

The R35 really does nothing for me. It's a great piece of kit but it doesn't give me the proverbial James-May-esque fizz. Plus, most of it's fanbase and most of it's owners are complete imbeciles. The Hako and Ken are very interesting, the looks of the Ken are amazing and the engine on the Hako is pretty good...but the current STANCEBROJDMASHECK culture ruins it for me. The R30 is not 80s funky enough. The R31 is 80s AS 🤬 I MEAN IT HAS A RETRACTABLE FRONT SPOILER AND WAS SOLD WITH ADS THAT HAD COVER VERSIONS OF "FOR ELISA" IN SYNTHS! CAPS LOCK! TURABO! 80S! The R32 started the world-wide known GT-R legend and I love it for that, pluse I always picture it with a Calsonic livery and those lovely Nismo wheels (you know, the ones with the vintage, straight-lined Nismo logo on them). The R33 is lovely but a tad too...I don't know. The R34 is the most famous one, the quickest, the one we first fell in love with through most games and movies with it's Bayside Blue (M) paintjob...but that means it suffers from the same problem as the R35, the Hako and the Ken: it's fanbase sucks.

If I could have it my way, I'd put the ATTESA-ETS, the RB26DETT, gearbox and all important chassis bits from an R34 in an R1 bodyshell. GT-R perfection right there. What? I can't have it my way? Fine. Uh...eenie, meenie...the R33. No, the R32. Ugh! No, wait, the R33 because of insane Le Mans homologation special and that "Keep the Dream Alive" livery.
