Car Polls Round 34: Ferrari Flagships

Here are this round's options:

1962-1964 250 GTO

1984-1987 288 GTO

1987-1996 F40

1995-2001 F50

2002-2004 F60 / Enzo Ferrari

2013-2015 LaFerrari

250 GTO is the clear winner. Meanest looks, excellent engine noise, and probably handles the best out of all the options.

No Ferrari will ever touch the F40 for me. That's not to say the other choices aren't excellent. They just aren't the F40.

Even though its outright limits aren't up with the F40 it's considerably more progressive, practical and more beautiful in my eyes.

In the rare minority, but it's the F50 for me. The F40 is still the GOAT due to the pure, but perfect, simplicity to it. However, the F50 with its simplistic stats such as a F1-inspired V12 coupled with a 6-speed manual, 200Mph+ top speed, etc. coupled with its controversial looks and rarity give it this intimidating presence when seen in the flesh. We only received them for 1 year, so they are a rare bird for us, but I'll never forget seeing the infamous Azzurro California one for the first time & being in awe of it.

250 GTO is the clear winner. Meanest looks, excellent engine noise, and probably handles the best out of all the options.

Let's not let nostalgia get in the way of logic here, now; chances are it's by far the worst.

Still, I'll go with the F40, a timeless classic, and quite possibly the best supercar ever made (alongside the McLaren F1 and the Lamborghini Murciélago).

I'd like to have seen some gaps filled by perhaps the Daytona and the 512BB, but I had to go for the 250GTO, just such a beautiful, heady car. I have a lot of time for the others though, even the Enzo (love the origami styling).

I love every one of these, but probably the F40 the most. Especially in LM guise.
