Right... not sure if this is going to work, but here goes. I was looking at one of my group shots (see above) and thinking... hey, you know, we could do a team effort on that... so...

I would like to host a small 'Show and Shine' at Beacon Hill.

Basically, to apply for a show pass, you put a single post in this thread, stating which car you will be showing.

There is only one rule: if someone has already selected that car with that colour, you can't have it. Different colour of the same car is fine. If you want to post a single preview thumbnail picture of the car, that's fine.

In order to give the show some character, there are a couple of guide themes: Musclecars, and Japanese Tuners. However - ANY CAR IS ALLOWED! Even the F1s and the Daimler horseless carriages.

Modifications are fine, any wheels, wings etc. You may even use bigger wheels than normal if you have access to a AR type device. (See my Corvette above.)

First come, first served with regards to parking spaces, although if you want to park with your buddies or in manufacturer groups, or tuner clubs, that can be arranged when I close the entry.

When I have a minimum of ten entries for this experimental show, I will PM the show instructions out. Basically, you will be expected to take a fixed number of photographs of your car at the 'show' with certain guidelines. Using these photos, I will create group shots. If other people wish to volunteer to create group shots from the base material, this will be welcomed. :) It's going to be quite complex and a bit time consuming, but with your help, I think we can create some killer photos of our little show.

And also, of course, you'll take your best shot of your car at Beacon Hill, and we'll judge those photos by poll, and I'll pick "Organiser's Favourite" too. :)

Sound like fun to you? Then stick a post in. I'll put a post in the thread when I think we've got enough entries to begin, but late entries will be welcomed as long as there is enough parking space and you don't mind what you're next to!

V.

P.S. Single post only to begin, please hold back on replies/discussion! (Although you can edit your posts.)

PM me if you have any questions. :)

I'm going to join in, of course. I think I'll be showing my Turquoise 1967 Mercury Cougar. :)

I'm going to give this a couple more days. I've prepped the instructions tonight, with visuals. I'll PM the next steps then, and we can get started.

:)

Yes, I lost all the setup photos. :banghead: I'll be sending out stuff Sunday
