Yeah, styling's a trillion times worse than the current one, though the magazines are raving about it, saying it's much better than the old one.

The Sunfire has enough recognition to that a Scot knows what it is??

Did it captivate you when you came over?

The Sunfire??

I just saw that movie about a year ago - I remember the funniest thing in that movie when he's in the future thousands of years and he goes into this cave, walks up to the Beetle, and it starts on the first try. :D

Yep - and I didn't understand what you were doing so I posted the new Micra and then you responded and posted the Sunfire and then vat_man responded and the whole thing got way out of control!

I picked up on Snoopie's technique of attaching images to post so that he could then get a URL to link to that image in another post. I didn't particularly want to host a picture of a Micra on giles-guthrie.com, mainly because I couldn't be bothered FTPing it to the site, so that's what I was doing! :)

Just a little note that apparently the new Renault Megane, although ridiculed for it looks, beats the Focus.

I'm not sure that the Megane looks that bad. The current car is blandness incarnate, and could do with a bit of a makeover. I think it's brave of Renault to adopt the basic features of the Avantime as their corporate look.
