Car That Surprised You The Most, One Way or The Other

What car did you buy (or win) that surprised you the most? Ie, it was way better or worse than you were expecting.

Better:

Porsche 911 GT1. Really dragged my feet buying this because of the 3 mil price tag. Then the servers went down and I thought GT was going to decide for me. Then they came back and I still dragged my feet until the last day, eventually buying it. My favorite car in the game. It is SO fun to drive. I put RH tires on it and like 20kg-ish (44lbs) of ballast to get it just under 700PP, which opens up a lot of races. I can't even explain it, but the car just does exactly what I want. I think it, and the car does it. It's beautiful (looks better in blue than in silver... fight me!), the gauges are classic Porsche font with the tach right in your face, and it's a stick shift.

If you didn't grab this car when it was available, next time it is you should. I dragged my feet and almost lost the opportunity, but so glad I snagged it. I did the G700 Championship with it last night and it was a blast. Finished, 1st, 3rd (less than .500 behind P1) and 1st. You gotta drive it like you stole it but she drives so well.

Anyway, I digress...

The price of the McLaren F1 surprised me for the worse. For the better though is the 2016 Renault Clio mainly due to the updated physics. The car is less likely to understeer in stock form than in Sport and makes for fun battles in the current "Daily" Race A.

The Gr.4 G70.. the car itself drives, well, a little stiff, until it just does a power slide when accelerating, which you simply don't expect from a 4x4. The thing has so much torque that I'd be constantly worried about its driveshafts on a real car.

Did the races for the Porsche menu book yesterday and used a 996 GT3. Who thought that it would be good if a car had ridiculous amount of lift off oversteer every time you back off the throttle by just a tiny amount? Beautiful car, but that was nowhere as pleasant to drive as I had hoped for.
