Car trading?

Just a thought but could it be possible that the used car market in GT5 could be part of online, such as if you want to sell a car you have to sell it to someone online or to buy, you have to buy it from someone who is selling online?

Heh, point taken. was just something that popped into my head thinking that Kaz had said the online part of GT5 would be big and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it.

He did mention some features with Garage and trading, but its been so long ago no one knows if they will still consider it.

Yes, one thing that I always liked about something like that was the potential to get around expensive and locked cars. Depending on how GT5 is set up, if I get a lot of funds, I'll probably start giving cars out for free to those who ask.

I could also tune cars to a specific spec and distribute them for racing series (though that may complex to organize, and only worth if tuning is so complex that it would take more effort to copy a list a parts to buy).

There would be one downside to online trading with prices defined by sellers:
It would be easier to buy a car online because you'll always find a good deal from big amount of sellers. That would lessen the meaning of those tough races with great car for prize.
People would rather hone their skills in trading rather than racing. 👎

But I would like to see online trading made possible with predefined prices for cars. Prices should be about the same as their value in GT mode. Earning ingame credits by trading shouldn't be made possible.

Online has limitless possibilities! I hope to see a lot of features there.

Not a bad idea but I would rather keep the traditional used car system intact for those people that don't play online.

Maybe you could sell cars that you have customised (livery editor) for higher cash?
