So, I had my R32 slighly modded for track and it was a monster, eating all kind of tracks. I was happy with the setup but wanted to do a focus build for the online race B, inside the parameters it asks. Long story short, I have no idea what I have done the car now won't turn.
At moving speeds, it's steering angle is very limited, but the moment you jump into first for those tricky corners, it won't even steer 15 degrees. Something curious, I noticed for some reason the rpm goes up to 3,000 when stopped .
Even returning to stock won't fix it, so it's not aero, nor suspension.

Something I tried was buying a new body to undo the chassis stifness, thinking it could be that. But dumb me didn't tried it fully stock, added the 4th body lightweight mod, so now I'm thinking it' that?
Totally puzzled here. If someone knows something, anything will help.
Thanks.

So, first of all for the future work with the settings that you can save, then you can switch back better if something doesn't fit anymore.

I suspect the following:

You have significantly increased the weight of the car, so your chassis no longer fits the weight and center of gravity of the vehicle, at the same time the required braking power increases, which quickly leads to your front tires being overwhelmed and losing grip.
First you can try to change the position of the additional weight in the vehicle, so you directly influence the balance of the car, if necessary you can already achieve a relief of the front axle AND that your rear wants to turn in better. But that also brings the risk that your weight in the back will be so high that you can no longer control and absorb oversteer.

If all of that doesn't help, you'll have to completely revise the set-up of your suspension.

I had this issue with an Integra Type R. In tight turns it wouldn't steer past 90 degrees. Turns out that lowering the car too much is a thing now and if the tires hit the fenders you lose steering angle. Imagine that! I ended up raising the suspension height a little and adding some camber and it steers just fine now.

With that said, you went back to stock and it wasn't fixed so I'm not sure what to say about that.

Thanks, I will check it just in case! Too low and wheels hitting the body do makes sense, specially fitting wide wheels.

I assume it's a bug, there is nothing like that i GTSport and there are some other cars with this steering problem after tuning in GT7. You cannot drive tight corners, even not by crawling. Keeping in mind there is a tune for extreme steering angles for drifting, it does not seem to make sense that this behavior is wanted by the devs in any way. I hope for a quick fix.

There is an issue with the R32 and lowering it with the wide body kit. There is another post on here with pictures showing the body work stopping the steering from going passed a certain amount of lock angle.
